Sorry that I’ve missed 2-3 weeks of weekly edition of “Newly Opened”.

Skin Food Egg White Pack (5 sets consist of nose, forehead & jaw)

This works superbly well removing those stubborn blackheads from your nose especially. I like the fact that Skin Food included jaw and forehead as well. That’s a bonus.

Watsons H Bella Purify & Renew Body Polish Strawberry & Cinnamon 250g
I received this from recent Watsons event. I’ve used up the previous jar which I gotten from Watsons event as well and I love it. I might repurchase this when I finish this jar.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion 11ml
Yeap. I jumped into UDPP bandwagon recently after reading all the great reviews BUT I was disappointed. I’d still prefer Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer though. Will do a review soon.

Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil 2ml
This is my 3rd 2ml mini bottle. I’m only using this at night so after this I’m gonna purchase the full size bottle which is 30ml.

Make Up For Ever High Definition Foundation 5ml
I got this mini bottle from a recent contest. Although the shade is too dark for my skin tone, I didn’t mind it as my Paul & Joe compact is too fair for my skin. So this sort of balance up the shade. It really does what it claimed; High Definition. I would definitely drop by MUFE counter to purchase.

Make Up For Ever High Definition Blush 4ml
This is also won from a recent contest. This is a cream blusher which needed to be applied after foundation but before the powder. A little goes a long way. I still prefer powder blush.

L’Occitane Shea Butter Foot Cream 30ml & 150ml

As I’m having some skin issue now, I carry the 30ml in my handbag to keep my foot moisturized while the 150ml stayed on the side of my bed which I’m using it generously before sleep. This is a good moisturizing cream for the foot but doesn’t do anything for crack heels. Clarins one is better for crack heels.

The box & tube is so shiny!

Although I’m not a fan of Bio-Essence and their company; Ginvera, I happen to have a tube of Maybelline BB Cream which I haven’t been using and Kajang was one of the exchange location so I drove over while I was on the way home from KLCC and successfully redeemed it. I think I reached around 11.45am and I was the first to redeem. All of this done without any problem or trouble as I’ve read that other girls had problem redeeming theirs. Well, I would say this is pretty normal for Bio-Essence to do such thing. I’m not surprised.

Watsons Ford Fiesta Contest Winner Prize Presentation Ceremony

I was invited by Watsons Malaysia to attend the Watsons Ford Fiesta Contest Winner Prize Presentation Ceremony held on Thursday at Sime Darby Auto ConneXion head office.

Today on the 22nd of December 2011, Ms. Sheerila Ramlee a 28 year old, teacher in Sekolah Kebangsaan Kulai will be rewarded for being a loyal member of the Watsons VIP Card, and shopping at Watsons stores, with a brand new Ford Fiesta Sport!

The ceremony started with a short opening intro by emcee of the day.

Mr. Faiz Shah, Senior Marketing Manager of Watsons Malaysia delivered his speech first. He said “When we were thinking of ways to truly reward our loyal members, we wanted something that is catered to the target audience of young, modern, urban females who are always on-the-go. The Ford Fiesta Sport is the perfect car for our customers’ lifestyles, and it is the perfect chance for us to show our appreciation to our Watsons VIP Card Members for their unwavering support”.

Followed by speech from Mr. Lee Eu San, Head of Marketing & Sales Operation of Sime Darby Auto ConneXion Sdn Bhd. He said in his speech “We are happy and impressed with this partnership with Watsons as the impressions and awareness generated during this campaign was truly great. Strong brand presence on radio, TV, in-stores and even targeting the digital age on Social Media as a powerful tool to reach out to the members is truly impressive”.

Then it was the car key presentation time!

Ms. Sheerila Ramlee thanked her lucky stars as she was presented with the key to her brand new ride at Sime Darby Auto Connexion Head Office today, in conjunction with the 1st Anniversary of the Watsons VIP Card.

“It was an unexpected surprise, but if feels really good to be rewarded at my favourite store! I have shopped at Watsons and when the VIP card first launched, I made it a point to sign up so I can be rewarded for my regular shopping at Watsons. Ms. Sheerila Ramlee was the lucky winner out of 126,623 qualified members making up a total of 302,646 entries in the Watsons Ford Fiesta Contest which was held from September till October. To qualify for the contest, all they had to do was to shop with a purchase of RM40 on their favourite personal care products with their Watsons VIP Card to receive one automatic entry. Spending at RM80 would be qualified for two automatic entries, and so forth, while purchase of Watsons Own Brand products also qualified them for double entries.

Mr. Faiz Shah also mentioned “In total, we’ve received a total of 302,646 qualified entries, a record breaking number compared to the previous Ford Fiesta Contest held in Feb/March which garnered 280,000 entries in total. This is truly a proud moment for us as we were able to generate even more interest in our Watsons VIP Cards in stores and online on our Watsons Fan Page on Facebook. We are very happy with the results of this contest and hope for more opportunities to reward our fans as well as educate them on the benefits of being a Watsons VIP Card Member”.

Official Launch of Elite Models Cosmetics Range

I was honored to be invited by Faiz Shah; Senior Marketing Manager of Watsons Malaysia to attend the official launch event of Elite Models Cosmetics Range at Rootz, Lot 10 on Thursday 24th November 2011. After asking for a friend to go with me, I emailed in my RSVP for 2 person and off we go.

After registering and collecting the door gift, we were ushered inside and there I met my old contact; Francis who’s now CRM Manager at Watsons Malaysia. We chatted a bit, gotten our drinks and said hello to Faiz who’s busy running here and there.

Francis insisted that we try out the cosmetic and we were lead to the makeover section where Liza and I had a quick touch up as we both had our makeup on. All this is kinda new to Liza so she was a bit shy and hesitated a bit but it’s all good.

Lipglosses. I had this on my lips and it’s not sticky and uncomfortable at all. 

This is 2-way foundation which I heard is really good matte coverage. I was amazed with how smooth my face is after applying this at the makeover.
