Estée Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening UV Protector SPF 50/PA++++ came to me at the right time, just before my road trip up north to Penang. I couldn’t think of the most perfect time to test out this sunscreen other than a place as hot as Penang. I’m not sure about you but the Northern part of Malaysia has always been hotter than KL in my context.
Even before the road trip, I’ve been using this Crescent White UV Protector everyday under my makeup. To be honest, I was expecting a heavy sunscreen judging from it’s creamy white consistency and that my face would be a total oil slick within the next few hours so I was really surprised to find out that I experience none of those. Tsk tsk tsk. Never judge a book by it’s cover, eh? 😀
One thing for sure is that I get foundation or any other makeup on my dress every single morning. I kinda forget that I have it on the back of my hand. Foundation is one of the most stubborn stain to get rid of dress due to the fact that I don’t hard scrub my work dresses or it could be that my mum wasn’t paying attention to makeup stain on my dress? Long story cut short, I wanted to get a mixing palette badly. I kinda like MAKE UP FOR EVER one but knowing it’s MUFE, it means it will be expensive. I’m not going to spend a lot on a mixing palette. I knew Inglot had it too so the choices now is to either bite the bullet or don’t get it at all. One day I decided to email MAKE UP FOR EVER awesome PR and Marketing girl to enquire on the prices and let’s just say I literally dash over to MAKE UP FOR EVER Starhill boutique the next day and purchased it.
MAKE UP FOR EVER Flat Steel Palette comes in two sizes – a Small size 126mm x 75mm and a Large size 163mm x 106mm. The price differences is only RM5 apart so you bet I got the Large size for RM25. I have no idea why I was stressing myself thinking it would be expensive. It was surprisingly not. That explains the dashing to the store 😀
By now you’ve already heard about the hype, knew what was the hype and you might be one of the lucky 200 users to be a part of the hype. That’s right. Bourjois Malaysia did something that blew my mind completely. This well-known French cosmetic brand decided to give away 200 units of the new Bourjois Rouge Edition Aqua Laque to 200 lucky fans who submitted their details through Bourjois Malaysia Facebook page in conjunction with the new release.
It’s not hard to gauge what exactly is Rouge Edition Aqua Laque. It comes in a short dainty tube just like it’s sister, Rouge Edition Velvet, which is my most used lip product at the moment due to it’s long lasting. When ‘laque’ is added to the name, one would automatically expect something that is high shine or glossy. Just take a look at the shiny top cap. Okay, I’m not going to mess up your mind further. This Rouge Edition Aqua Laque is a hybrid lip product of lip gloss and lipstick 🙂
The care package that I received contain a set of three carefully selected Rouge Edition Aqua Laque. There is 02 Rosé On The Rocks, which is a rose nude shade, 04 Viens Si Tu Roses, which is a raspberry shade and 06 Feeling Reddy, which is a bright peachy red shade. Overall, I got three different shades from three different shade category with three different intensity. Ain’t that thoughtful? 😉
No, it’s not Sunday yet but I had to post this up ASAP.
Shorty after opening their 2nd store at IPC Shopping Centre a month ago, Spotlight is set to open its largest store exactly TODAY 11th April 2015.
Having a great start at their 1st store at Ampang Point, Spotlight is showing no signs of slowing down especially after the successful launch of their flagship store in IPC. This new store at The Mines Shopping Mall is going to be Spotlight’s largest store.
This picture doesn’t justify what I’m going to say. To date, Spotlight The Mines is the biggest Spotlight store as of today, occupying 31,000 sq ft retail space at Level 4 of the mall. Even with the two other stores at Ampang Point and IPC, shoppers are already spoilt for choice with over 100,000 vast selections of delights in six categories namely Home Furnishings, Manchester (bedding), Home Decor, Dress and Fashion Fabrics, Craft, Hobby and Party Essentials. So can you imagine stepping into this 31,000 sq ft store? Umm hmm. You’ll even be more spoilt. Trust me. I know because I was ‘lost’ 😀
In the 1920’s René Lacoste heralded the birth of contemporary sportswear with his design for the original L.12.12 Polo shirt.
In 2015, the EAU DE LACOSTE L.12.12 fragrancecollection, inspired by the iconic menswear garments, unveils a new experience.
This spring, LACOSTE presents a new olfactory shade: the sunnily cheerful EAU DE LACOSTE L.12.12 Jaune [“jaune” means ‘yellow’ in English] – expressing positive energy, buoyant, radiant, fizzing with joie de vivre. “To wear EAU DE LACOSTE L.12.12 Jaune is to revel in the optimism of a bright yellow shirt, on a sun-lit morning” says Antoine Delgrange, Marketing Director P&G Prestige.
In the scent inspired by this concoction, grapefruit, pink peppercorn and an effervescent tonic accord give way to sweet, Golden Delicious apple blended with coriander seeds, on a balmy cypress, vetiver and amber base. Beneath the surface bravura, these base notes are spicy. EAU DE LACOSTE L.12.12 Jaune is an optimistic, invigorating creation.
