Review: Hada Labo New Face Wash Launched With 3 Variants – Hydra & Whitening, Deep Clean & Pore Refining and Deep Clean & Blemish Control Face Wash
What attract me to Hada Labo shelf in the drugstore is the packaging. I’m a fan of the color white especially when it comes to beauty related stuff, just like the blog layout. I thought it looked clean :D. Another distinctive attraction of the brand Hada Labo is all the Japanese writing on the front tube of the bottle or tube. It’s like a mystery as I can’t read Japanese but somehow attracted to it. The Japs make good skin care and makeup don’t you think so? 😉
Asian skin type and need are unique and different due to the climate and environment surrounding. Hada Labo recognized these differences and came up with different types of cleanser previously for example Moisturizing Face Wash, es Foaming Wash, AHA/BHA Cleansing and Whitening Face Wash. Just last month Hada Labo launched three new face wash products, and so I was sent these Hada Labo New Face Wash to try out. Maybe Hada Labo sense that I was running out of cleanser eh?
Just the other day I was telling my friends over Facebook that I wash my face three times a day and my friend said it’s too much. I disagree, because I have oily skin and my three times of washing only include morning after waking up, double cleanse after removing makeup and just before I go to sleep. These three times are the main face washing that I can’t skip, or I’ll end up with a face that I could even fried up an egg lol.
Time for a review on one of my favourite beauty box’s latest edition – MIVVA “BFF Sleepover Kit” November 2013 🙂
Just a day before MIVVA send out the November edition, the girls at MIVVA posted a sneak peek of the content while they were doing the usual monthly packing. I was able to roughly guessed the content although the picture wasn’t a close up shot. I saw a tube and knew that’s full size and it looked like a cleanser and I certainly can see the nail polish as well as the sheet mask clearly. I wasn’t able to figure out what’s the white and pink tube was and the brands but the content looked interesting.
The next day I checked Instagram and was a bit put off because most of the picture uploaded by subscribers who had received their box wasn’t a close shot either! Urrggghh! I returned home after work and saw my parcel on my bed. Without any delay, as fast as a lightning…I ripped through the PosLaju courier plastic for the awaited surprise. The excitement was hyped up further as mum was standing next to me eagerly waiting to find out as well 😀

I like how MIVVA put a theme on their monthly box. November 2013 edition’s theme is “BFF Sleepover Kit”. The theme is basically self-explanatory so I’m not going further into the theme. The products in each box are more or less have something to do with the theme.
If you have been following the blog for some time, you are well aware that I am not really a fan of sheet mask as I still think wash off mask is more convenient for me. The funny thing is most people told me the opposite :). I think the main reason on why I would prefer wash off mask is because I usually apply mask at night while I blog. Sheet mask will slide down my face slowly and I’m very afraid that this will drag all my skin down on prolong usage. But that’s just a personal preference. Everyone is different in a way 😀

The tube is huge for 150ml of content! I’m sure you won’t miss this at the local drugstore. The tube itself is kinda soft. At the moment I don’t have any issue with squeezing and dispensing the content out as the content in it is still full but since this mask contain actual black sugar, the sugar bits is stuck at the dispense hole so the cap won’t closed properly. Each time after using this mask I would need to wipe off the leftover from the dispensing hole in order to close the cap properly.
With a handful beauty box subscription services available here in Malaysia, one would think it’s a crazy decision to launch another beauty box into the market especially after bidding farewell to three beauty box namely Fabulous Finds, BBF and the most recent one would be CosmoBox. Not to say it’s totally cray cray to launch one now. To me the identity and direction of each beauty box is what makes the difference between each box.
A few days ago I found out that there will be a new beauty box make available in Malaysia which was targeted to launch on 11th November 2013, which was yesterday by the way :D. BeauBox is armed and set to be the world’s 1st full sized beauty subscription box that promises a minimum of 4 full-size products monthly. Let me tempt you further with first hand info on this new exciting beauty box 😀
“Beau” is a French word for Beautiful. It also mean Beauty in short so BeauBox simply mean Beauty Box. If you read a similar sentence elsewhere means someone copied my idea. Let me tell you why. All along I know Beau in French means beautiful and I double confirm that with google. But Beau doesn’t mean beauty, according to google dictionary on multiple sources. I figure out myself that Beauty is the short for Beautiful in order for me to link the word BeauBox to Beauty Box so there’s no way other people can figure out that beauty is also the meaning of Beau ;). It’s not close!
BeauBox is not only the world’s first beauty box in the world that promises a minimum of 4 full-size products but it is also the first beauty box that named it’s box Beauty Box, but in a chic way.
