Somewhere early or middle this year I redeemed a Shiseido The Perfect Whitening Kit 2013 from Isetan KLCC counter but I couldn’t recall where I get the info from. The only thing I remember is being excited about it and rushed to redeem the sample kit mainly because I was interested with the serum+ and of course the mask as well.
The Perfect Whitening Kit has been sitting in my stash drawer comfortably, up until a few days ago where I took it out while cleaning the drawer. I’ve ran out of whitening serum and this sample kit is just perfect :D. I give credit to counter brands that came out with such a nicely done and complete sample kit. This Shiseido one although comes in a simple cardboard leaftlet-like, at least they put in effort and not just giving the sample out as it is. I also managed to get this sample kit without any issue or whatsoever from the friendly BA. They are well aware of the sampling exercise and I was not badly treated at all eventhough I wasn’t buying anything.
Just when I thought I’ve seen it all when it comes to beauty related products, I didn’t realize something this unique could happen beyond my eyes. You know I love shimmering products very much regardless eyeshadow, blushes, finishing powder, makeup base and the list goes on right?
The latest product range that utilizes shimmers in their product is L’Oreal Professionnel Mythic Oil Souffle d’Or. I bet you’ve heard about this innovation because this is the first ever hair care range that are with fine shimmer bits! It literally screams my name 😀
I know not many people are a fan of shimmers. You wouldn’t want to risk looking like a disco ball eh? But there’s nothing to be afraid of when it comes to L’Oreal Professionnel Mythic Oil Souffle d’Or Sparkling Shampoo and Sparkling Conditioner. Call me crazy but honestly when I first got my hands on this duo, I was so ready to see my hair with shimmers. I want a party ready hair 😀
Before I start with my thoughts on the recent Wonderbox October 2013 edition, I want to share with you on what had happened to my box redemption a few months ago.
I have some points in my account and so I redeemed a box just before 14th August, which is before their window closing. At first the status in my account stated I’ve successfully redeemed an August box so I happily logged out and waited for my box. By the end of the month I login to my account and to my horror Wonderbox changed my August box to September box! So I dropped Wonderbox an email regarding this matter. I was told that I redeemed after the window was closed. When I confronted Wonderbox on this allegation, they quickly changed statement to “we have a sold out month”. Once again…how can it be possible if I still see the box balance on top of their website?? There’s still hundreds of boxes left!! I remember Wonderbox told me that the box balance on the website is pretty accurate. You know what? I am so lazy to argue with them that I let them off. I’m fed up of being taichi-ed all the time.
Before I even tell you the story of my supposed-to-receive September 2013 box, let me just show you the not-so-great October 2013 edition.
Here’s the thing about September 2013 edition box. What I know is, Wonderbox decided to do a “bumper” box in October in conjunction with their anniversary hence they will be skipping September box. I’m not sure if the plan is a go or no go because there was no black and white on the bumper box except for this email that was sent to all subscribers.
