A fashion store launch and it’s 10 minutes away from me? Say what? You bet I went! I was happy when I found out Max Fashion, the largest, most trusted value fashion brand in the Middle East, North Africa and India was going to be opening its first store in IOI City Mall, Putrajaya Malaysia. As someone who is into fashion, Max Fashion was so huge in Dubai that I almost cannot missed it, especially when the event is so near my house 😀
Just yesterday, I was at IOI City Mall for an afternoon coffee and I notice there are so many tourist in the mall and majority of the shoppers are carrying Max Fashion paper bags. Actually I noticed that last week as I went back to the mall several times after the event. That proves how well received the store is here in Malaysia. Since Raya is just around the corner and I am kinda on a holiday mood now, I thought I would share with you a quick walk-around Max Fashion store here in IOI City Mall Putrajaya.

Breena Beauty, the brainchild of fellow beauty blogger friend Sabrina Tajudin need no introduction. Everybody know Breena Beauty and my friend over here 😀 . Her recent launch kinda got everyone of us excited as she launched a beauty sponge named Blending Pearl. Now, I have a friend at Kota Kinabalu Sabah who bought the Blending Pearl, tagged me in a post and one of her friend/follower on Instagram commented that this is a copy of beauty blender. I shot that comment down because this may be a beauty sponge, it is so much different than beauty blender. Yes the concept is the same but if you have used both you will know that they are both different in so many ways.
It is no secret that I adore Physicians Formula. I still remember how I started dipping my toes into the Physicians Formula hype that was raved by all US beauty bloggers and Youtubers. It is this Physicians Formula Youthful Wear Youth Boosting Spotless Foundation. This is the foundation that got me into Physicians Formula. But, it was tricky. Tricky because the brand Physicians Formula was not present in the Malaysia market back in 2014. And I have to search for one from an oversea online store that is cheaper and willing to ship to Malaysia. You girls are so lucky now as Physicians Formula was finally launched in Malaysia in early 2016. Buying any Physicians Formula product is so easy now as you can just walk into Watsons store or shop at Watsons online store. And I also found out recently that Physicians Formula have their own online store. Even better!
Morphe need no introduction at all. I bet you know who Morphe are and why every single girl in this planet go nuts over their eyeshadow palettes and brushes. I am too searching for their most sought after palette high and low from my usual resellers online. A huge palette with high pigmentation eyeshadows for a fraction of the price? Sign me up. Let’s not forget all those wonderful looking brushes that all Youtubers used in their video. It is seriously tempting. Very tempting.
To be honest, their eyeshadow palettes are priced at USD22.99 and it’s not expensive. The cheapest I have seen from local resellers who have their ways in buying from the US and get it shipped to Malaysia are at RM130. Due to the currency rate increase, the most expensive I have seen recently are probably RM140-RM160? Still cheaper compared to what Sephora has. RM130 for 35 eyeshadows to me is at an okay price. But then I watched this video below and that changes what I think about Morphe and why their price point is so affordable. Bear in mind, this guy who made the video, John Kuckian is a person who posted all sorts of gossip videos on Youtubers. Please watch it with a free mind like what I did and focus on the facts of the topic.
