KENS Apothecary never ceases to amaze me. Their store had already make me feel like a kid being in a candy store and now they brought in even more ‘candy’.
If you have been following Street Love long enough you will know that I love buying American products even before I am a beauty blogger. Now that I am one, I secretly like to source for American makeup products that are not available in Malaysia. There is something about owning products which no one or less people own that makes it even more special. Watching lots of Youtube videos does not help. It makes me crave for even more new makeup releases, hoping one fine day these brands will hit Malaysia market.
Benefit and I, we are not friends. There I said it. Why? Well, many years ago Benefit Malaysia uses us, a group of bloggers to do a giveaway for them in order to create some hype for them. And when that is done, they have gotten what they want and the left without saying thank you or good bye. So, now they only get people who is famous or celebrity so-called to whatever they do. I am one who do not support Benefit Malaysia regardless how tempting some of their limited edition launches are.
Two weeks ago I wanted to paint my nails after what seems to be forever since I last painted them. I used to be very diligent in making sure I have colors on my nails but over the past few months I just did not have the time. And I was enjoying the bare nails look. However I started to missed my funky accent nail-do and I did not want to use the same ol’ nail polish I had so I went on a stash shopping looking for new nail polishes. As luck was on my side I found a few brand new nail polishes sitting in the drawer. I have three new CATRICE nail polishes but the CATRICE Ultimate Nail Lacquer wow-ed me and I cannot stop using them!
Last Saturday, 11th March I had my 3rd campaign #IWillBeOkay ‘Fight Against Depression’ Awareness Campaign and it is a super fun trail run and hike at Bukit Kiara. More on that soon. I am still waiting for all the photos from two separate photographers.
#IWillBeOkay Trail Hike event was a success. I received nothing but encouragement, praises and positive feedback that it is a well-organized, fun and meaningful event. Everyone told me I should do more! I hope so too 🙂 . Despite five participants that could not make it, the turnout rate was good overall. So, I have some leftover T-shirt and merchandize to clear. All donations will go into existing #IWillBeOkay fund which will help with future campaigns and events.
