It starts to feel like Christmas at this time of the year when holiday collections are being rolled out to the store bit by bit. My first preview for this year is a brand that I have not featured before – Laura Mercier. I am excited with this one. Mainly because I love makeup products!
Laura Mercier Holiday Collection 2016 consists of three parts; makeup, body & bath and skincare. I think I missed the skincare set at the preview *oppss so today I will only focus on the makeup and body & bath, aight? 🙂
Just when I started to get bored rotating between perfumes I had on my vanity table, this Hugo Boss BOSS THE SCENT For Her arrived my doorstep unexpectedly. Boy am I happy to see a new fragrance made available to our market. I have always love perfume and even reviewing perfume. You know what they say, the most difficult product to review is perfume. I like it because I like the challenge 😉
Growing up, I never like receiving flowers. I have a strict policy that you can gift me anything but teddy bear and flowers. Sometimes I think I am a man! 😛 . It is only recent year that I started to appreciate having flowers around me. Then I started buying flowers for my room everytime I sees them at shopping mall. Flowers can instantly brighten a space and lift one’s mood. There is something magical about flowers. What’s best about buying and gifting flowers is that it suits everyone at any day, any time and any occassion.
When I first started dabbing my toes into beauty, I kept buying and buying without realizing how important it is to keep track of all the product’s expiry date. As time goes by, I started doing research on how to read the codes on the products as not all products stated its manufacturing date or even expiry date on the bottle or box. I find it a bit dodgy that brands prefer to put some mysterious code that no one but only them will understand what it meant. Then I found Check Cosmetics. I first written a post on Check Cosmetics back in 2011. So this is like a newer version to the old post 😀
Gift shopping for our own self is so much easier than shopping for other people, especially for loved ones. I think maybe because we think or worry too much that the other party will not like the gift? Well, stop thinking too much and you will be fine. I always say this and I am going to say it again. Gifting is not about receiving but also gifting from the heart. It is so much joy to gift than receiving if you are at my age LOL 😛
