One of the rare opportunity to be invited to be a part in the Taiwan Beauty Power Networking Event which was held earlier this week. I have missed the French networking event two years ago and I ain’t going to miss this one. K-Beauty have been taking over Malaysia recently by storm and as a beauty blogger, it is my duty to know what is out there from Taiwanese beauty. Invited attendees includes top 2 health, beauty and personal chains – Guardian and Watsons as well as beauty companies and beauty bloggers as well as Youtubers.
When Chu Lip Lip Balm was launched last year, I had the opportunity to try it and review it. It is one of the most cute and fun way to apply lip balm. It is also my staple lip balm right before my makeup. When I hit the pan on that particular Chu Lip lip balm, there I was standing in front of my vanity table scratching head trying to figure out if I have any other lip balm at home and if not what should I buy. Just when I am still scratching my head, this new Chu Lip Tinted Lip Balm arrived my doorstep. Tinted lip balm is my favourite of all 🙂
Many moons ago (hehe), Dr.Jart+ Malaysia asked if I would like to try their new specialized sheet mask line. I already knew the review will be delayed due to work schedule at that time but when I was ready to ripped the packaging off to try, my camera broke down. Last week I was more work-free so I took the new Dermask out to try. I was sent two different sheet mask – Neck & Chin Lift and Vital Hydra Solution. Now, we all already know how a hydrating sheet mask works so this time I decided to review something different – the Dr.Jart+ Dermask Spot Neck & Chin Lift. Also because I am so intrigued and interested with anything lifting 😀
With the launch of SK-II’s most powerful anti-aging skincare range, one would already expect that its complementing eye cream will follow. Introducing the All-NEW SK-II R.N.A. POWER Eye Cream for bigger, brighter and firmer eyes.
In a one-of-a-kind study spanning 15 years, SK-II’s scientists were able to prove the common belief that eyes can indeed get smaller with age, no thanks to gravity. Our eyes will eventually get 20% smaller on the average over the span of 15 years and it all begins from our 20s. Why do this happens besides gravity doing what it meant to do? The answer is actually the lack of lengthwise and crosswise firmness around the eyes. When lengthwise firmness (fewer wrinkles and fine lines) and crosswise firmness (less visible pores) are achieved, skin around the eyes is firmer and eyes look younger and brighter.
Spotlight. Ahhh Spotlight. The last you heard about Spotlight from me was one year ago. For those who are new to this blog, Spotlight is a well-known largest fabric, craft and home interiors super store from Australia. They are now the largest in AustralAsia. Last week I went to Spotlight “Make It Merry” workshop and had loads of fun! A lot of you were shocked that I was at a Christmas décor event as it is now only the month of August. Still another quarter to go for Christmas lol.
