It was Jusco One Utama JCard Day last week (16th & 17th Nov) and I took this opportunity to replenish my Shaping Facial Lift serum stock at home. Most counter has already sold out as Clarins Shaping Facial Lift Double Lift Best Buy Set is July promo set and Jusco One Utama is the only counter which I knew still have many sets available. It’s better to get them now than when it’s gone 🙂

Let’s talk about the Christmas set for 2011 which I’ve got. The only set which caught my eye is something which I didn’t own in my current stash nor I’ve tried it. I decided to get the set Wake Up Treats at RM173. The set contains Eau Dynamisante Invigorating Fragrance Spray (100ml), Eau Dynamisante Moisturizing Body Lotion (100ml) and Eau Dynamisante Shower Gel (50ml). I kinda like the shower gel which I received as a gift with purchase in October purchase (read here) and Eau Dynamisante Invigorating Fragrance Spray is used to prepare the BA’s hand before skin time and also in their facial massages for the shoulder that I wanted this set. Basically I’m only paying for Eau Dynamisante Invigorating Fragrance Spray and the rest is free items as the spray alone cost RM173 in retail. The body lotion is half of retail size which is good enough for me. The scent for all 3 items is. . . exactly the same!

My main reason of hauling is to replenish Shaping Facial Lift serum at home as I only left with one spare bottle. I could have wait till I finished my last bottle at home but the best buy set which I wanted to get is actually July 2011 promo set and it’s sold out everywhere. Why this set and not other best buy set? Well, I get a saving of RM21 for two bottles of the serum AND I get another full size item for FREE and also a deluxe sample plus a makeup bag. I think I mentioned this before here lol. I bought before Perfect Shape & Lift set (worth RM680) and Double Lift & Protect 2 set (worth RM636) therefore this time I gotten myself a different set; Total Beauty Lift set (worth RM630) although I went with an intention to repurchase Double Lift & Protect 2 set.

I’m not sure if my Shaping Facial Lift best buy set entitle for this promo and I’m too lazy to ask as it’s very chaotic at that time so I only purchase a White Plus HP Gentle Brightening Peel. Now I’m regretting as I wanted to get the Gentle Brightening Exfoliator as well hahaha.

I asked for a sample the day before to try and I like how Gentle Brightening Peel does to my skin so I decided to get it. I also got to know the day before that there’s still stock left. I wasn’t served by Fennie as she’s engaged with several customer at that time which is OK for me (I’m an understanding customer *cough* *cough* lol) so I needed to inform the kind lady which was entertaining me that I wanted a PWP Gentle Brightening Peel. Poor lady went to ask around and come back to tell me that it’s out of stock and they only left Gentle Brightening Exfoliator. I insisted that I have checked with Fennie the day before and there’s still stock left and the kind lady went to check again and she came back to me with a bottle. Phew!! I was so relieved.

I like it that Clarins assemble a different type of Tier 1 and 2 GWP recently. I can see some different products than previous GWP which was rather usual. I like it that I get to try other product which I haven’t tried like Relax Bath & Shower Concentrate, Extra-Firming Body Cream and Shaping Facial Lift Wrap.

Clarins is very generous with their promotions, tier gifts with purchase, early bird special and also samples. Yes, you could just walk over to any of their counter to get consultation and samples. They will not say no to you. For me I always ask for a sample first before buying. I can’t do product testing on the back of my hand as it just doesn’t work for me. I need to try the product on my face and return to purchase a full size product from the counter. You don’t need a long time to see result with Clarins. It’s almost immediate result! Which is why I love love love Clarins so much 🙂
