Yesterday morning I took the day off from the laptop and drove to Pavilion to meet up with Kamsiah for some beauty shopping trip. The main agenda is of course the Clarins Facebook Gathering. I’ve been to the very first Clarins gathering 2 years ago at The Gardens Mall and it was loads of fun as it’s my first and Clarins’ first time having such gathering too :D. Subsequently Clarins did held a few Facebook Fans Gathering but I didn’t go. I wasn’t even aware there’s a gathering this time round so I got to thank Kamsiah for letting me know :D. I missed quite a lot of things in Facebook lately as I was too busy to stalk beauty brands 🙁
So. I had the itch to shop but wouldn’t want to add stress to my already large beauty stash so I only have a mission – to only buy charity kits. Here’s what I came home with.
Sulwhasoo “Hundred Charity Quilt Kit” (RM129)
The perfect time to try out Sulwhasoo product is by purchasing a starter kit. But the thing is, Sulwhasoo starter kit wasn’t really attractive at the price of RM210 and the products are smaller. Recently Sulwhasoo released a limited edition “Hundred Quilt Charity Kit” and proceeds of the charity kit will be donated to World Vision Malaysia, channelled to Children Development Fund. Each kit is retailing for RM129 and it’s while stocks last only. You can only buy this from Sulwhasoo Parkson Pavilion KL and Parkson Gurney Plaza Penang. Parkson Pavilion BA told me that she only left 33 sets at the counter. There will be no restocking after these finishes.
The set comes with the following.
(1) A quilted pouch
(2) Gentle Cleansing Foam 50ml
(3) First Care Activating Serum 8ml
(4) Essential Balancing Water 30ml
(5) Essential Balancing Emulsion 30ml
(6) Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Cream 5ml
(7) Overnight Vitalizing Mask 30ml
BA also gave me sachets of Essential Rejuvenating Eye Cream, Essential Revitalizing Serum and Hydro-Aid Moisturizing Lifting UV Protection Cream to try 😉
There is also a card slotted in the pouch to further explain on the cause of the charity and also the meaning behind handmade quilting.

Clarins FEED 10 Purse (RM120)
FEED 10 Purse kit originally only sold at other country and I remember wishing that Malaysia have it too. Just last month I saw someone asking in Clarins Facebook page on FEED 10 and to my surprise Clarins said that Malaysia actually carries it! However it is only on specific location such as Clarins counter in Pavillion and our Clarins Skin Spas in One Utama, KLCC, BSC and The Curve.
There is a reason why the cause of this charity is named as “FEED 10”. Each purchase of the purse provides 10 school meals to children globally through the United Nations World Food Programme.
Here is the products that you get if you purchase the FEED 10 Purse kit.
(1) FEED 10 pouch
(2) Tonic Bath & Shower Concentrate 100ml
(3) One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser 30ml
(4) Hand and Nail Treatment Cream 30ml
(5) HydraQuench Cream-Mask 15ml
(6) Body Lift Cellulite Control 30ml
The pouch is actually quite nice, large, made from thick and quality material. All the products included in this kit is something staple in my beauty regime, except for the Body Lift Cellulite Control so it’s a good buy 🙂
Attached to the pouch is a card on the charity cause initiative and purposes.

As for the Clarins Facebook Gathering, I was the first 50 people in queue so I’ve gotten myself a door gift worth RM369. This time round the door gift is much more attractive comparing with previous gathering.
Lots of fun yesterday beauty peeping and shopping with Kamsiah. Oh and we bumped into Ju Li at Clarins gathering and three of us sort of rushed over to TheSkinTopic to sign up for VIP Membership lol. Info all thanks to Kamsiah :D. I also bumped into a few readers like Cp Moon and Tiffany Tai also at Clarins gathering 😀
Invest in a child’s future and at the same time taking care of your skin with these beauty for a good cause charity kit.

Ooh, the Sulwhasoo pouch looks really beautiful but their produts do nothing for me sadly.
I don’t think I’ll get to do much beauty shopping this year end. I was planning to get the Clarins hydrating set from Isetan but last week I received a set of full size skin care from Linden Leaves. So I’m thinking if I buy anymore, I’ll probably still have unfinished products left even until next Christmas.
By the way, are you familiar with beauty shopping in Singapore? I’m going mid of the month and was wondering if they have anything that’s special or ‘more worth it’ than in Malaysia. I’m definitely visiting Lush!
I’m on the other hand wanted to try the products but not so into pouch :P. This will ended up in blog sales I guess haha 😀
Wow! A set of full size skin care from Linden Leaves? Contest? There’s so much to get in Singapore babe. Even their Christmas set is slightly different from Malaysia version. Actually I wanted to go Singapore for some beauty shopping too. One of my friend/reader is there :). She’s also into beauty and she would make a great tour guide for me haha 😀
Yes, from contest. 😀 Funny because it’s a brightening/radiant series and we are talking about the whitening/brightening thing in the Shiseido post.
What’s the Skin Topic VIP card for?
Haha yea how ironic lol. Then the set suits you because it’s brightening 🙂
TheSkinTopic VIP membership is just the usual membership to collect points from purchase. They are actually giving out a full size Linden Leaves Rejuvenating Dermabrasion 55ml worth RM216 from 1st to 3rd November. Only limited to 20 pcs per day.
I knew about the TheSkin Topic thingy but totally forgotten about it =.=” Does the VIP Member registration require a fee?
The Sulwhasoo and Clarins charity kits are really a good buy for a good cause too 🙂
No fee or purchase required. We were told to only go at 11am as the BA wanted to clean the kiosk =.=”. BA told us their boss changed the amount to give out at just 20 pcs only per day.
Totally loving my Sulwhasoo and Clarins charity kit 😉
I see you have a great weekend! Hahaha… Clarin door gift worth RM 369?! They are generous! Sulwhasoo set is so interesting as well. One of the local chinese artist also use it and she posted on instagram how good it is. Hopefully you will review it too!
I did! Although I now face the problem of stuffing everything into my 1-foot deep drawer :P. Comparing with previous door gift value, I see that the value has been increasing. When I look back at Clarins first gathering door gift…it was kinda sad LOL.
Not a surprise that even local artist uses Sulwhasoo. It is Korea’s top skin care brand. In Malaysia I was told many SK-II, Lancome, Estee Lauder user converted to Sulwhasoo. Not sure if that’s true or not though.
Fiona, can you personal shopper for me on the Sulwhasoo? I am in JB 🙁
Can no prob. Email me 😉
This is what I love you about you – blogging from heart and passion. You have always been very supportive of charity kits. Good for you girl! 🙂 I love the Clarins pouch from you to bits also. The one with animal embroidery. I would love the Sulwhasoo one, haha, but recently, I am reconsidering my priorities. Saving for bigger things for mum. Hope you enjoy the items, they look so lovely and for a good cause too!
Yes! I can get pretty and at the same time help those that are in need. Win – win situation :D. Oh I’m using that animal embroidery charity pouch as pen case in my work bag. Bigger things like buying a house? 🙂
I also use that charity pouch as stationery case at work. But very careful not to keep those pen without cover as I am paranoid it will stain my pouch with ink. So far so good. Yeah, saving for a house. Sigh, sell all my beauty items and samples and kidney also still not enough money :'(
Don’t worry. I know you will be able to get a house soon :). Houses now are not cheap. I can’t imagine being tied down for 30 years or something. Sigh.
