I’m not so into hand cream but having said that I do, for some reason have a small amount of hand cream stash in my vanity. When I do put on hand cream I usually go for subtle scented one, and not the one that are overly fragrance infused. It’s rather odd considering the fact that I like my skin care to to be scented 😀
Hand cream is the most common gifting option for the ladies especially at times like this when Christmas is just around the corner. I’ve been lemming over Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream one year ago when I had skin allergy on my hand due to some hair product chemical. I remember clearly that I used to popped by any Clarins counter just to squeeze a huge dollop of Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream. And my hands would feel so much better and velvety smooth after that. I was given a 8ml sample to try but I wasn’t ready to splurge RM95 for a tube of hand cream. Last year, I happily redeemed a full size using points accumulated from Club Clarins 😀
This tube of Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream that I first own and reviewing today is the old packing. Do note that Clarins has changed this to a new packaging which is much more sleek and elegant. But comes with a screw cap. Oh bummer.
Despite the new, sleek, elegant packaging, I still prefer the old one for this hand cream due to the flip cap. It’s so much convenient when it comes to hand cream.
Clarins said that their Hand and Nail Treatment Cream is an emollient-rich hand treatment that are infused with soothing Sesame Oil and fortifying Japanese Mulberry. These key ingredients works by forming an invisible protective “glove” that shields hands from the elements thus minimizing signs of ageing. I have to agree on this because Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream do indeed finish off velvety matte that resemble an invisible glove. With this “glove” on, hands and nails are visibly soften.
It is quite rare to find a multi-functional hand cream so Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream is a gem. Not only it helps to soften the surface of dry hands, minimize signs of ageing, it also help to strengthen nails and condition cuticles for naturally youthful-looking hands. Say goodbye to dry, chapped, irritated hand!
Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream can be quite interesting to use at first but in fact you don’t really need a lot. I usually use half of the stripe below. Below amount is just to show you a much more clearer picture of the hand cream :D. Sometimes when I feel that my skin is super dry and flaky, I’d sneakily squeeze as much as the stripe below to use. But of course it will take a much more longer time to absorb in lol.
Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream is in a soft beige color but finish off colorless and the main selling point is definitely that velvety matte invisible glove finishing. I have this tube on my work desk in the office which I usually reapply each time I wash my hands. It doesn’t stain my laptop’s keyboard nor give a sticky hand shake but despite the velvety matte surface, it does get a bit slippery when in contact with water. Just wash it off completely and you’ll be fine 😉
Also got to give credit for the non-oily surface on the hands. It’s quite a hand cream I would say because it does help to condition my hands but I couldn’t see the product layering on my hand surface. It is not a surprise that many love this Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream as well.
This year I redeemed another two full size of Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream but for some reason I now ended up with a few 30ml *facepalm* from various GWP and value set therefore I’m selling off these two full size :). You can check the sales up at this link.

Thanks dear. I knew you’ll love this hand cream :P. I’m a fan myself!
Eeek! I like this hand cream too^^ Your sales is so cheap!
Ahhh another fan in the house 😀
My favourite hand cream. Its fabulous.
Agree!
Best hand cream for me too. I used about the whole stripe as the picture above. It’s not humid here, definitely need more moisture.
Sometimes I used the whole stripe too, especially when the air conditioning in the office is stronger than usual 🙂
talking of hand cream, I don’t like hand cream makes my hand oily. It feels like I need to go wash again after use. 🙁
The trick is not to use too much. Other hand cream is quite oily. Clarins one here gives a velvety finish.
Have read raves about this hand cream! Haha, because you endorsed it, I have 101% faith in it. I am half way through my big tube of L’Occitane which I thought was so so – this may sound crazy, but I felt that it made my hands even drier! Argh.
I love that L’Occitane hand cream too! I have a few 10ml and 30ml which I’m saving. It’s more oily so I used to use it at night only. Clarins one is for day time :D. Aik? How come drier? Time to switch!
