After months of sweat (and some happy tears), 22 beauty creator finalists gathered in Tokyo for the finals of Beauty Bound Asia, presented by SK-II on YouTube. Michelle Phan, top YouTube beauty creator and digital entrepreneur, along with seven of Asia’s top beauty creators (Luv2bfree, Saytiocoartillero, Katerina Beauty Blog, Wengie, So Young’s Beauty Room, Littlemissboo, and Arial Chan), crowned the overall winner of Beauty Bound Asia, Jane Makeup of Bangkok, Thailand.
Walking away with the title of Asia’s Next Top Beauty Creator, the winner of Beauty Bound Asia, Jane Makeup, not only received over US$10,000 worth of prizes, including first-in-the-world access to products from some of the world’s top beauty brands such as SK-II, an all-expense paid trip to Tokyo and New York City, camera equipment, but she will also continue to have priceless opportunities to learn and collaborate with some of the world’s top beauty creators.
In line with SK-II’s #changedestiny philosophy to encourage and empower women to break free from barriers and pursue their passions, SK-II presents Beauty Bound Asia on YouTube – an exciting, once-in-a-lifetime program to encourage beauty creators to reach the next level in their craft and audience engagement. This four-month long program took creators through a series of online video challenges, provided them with mentoring by Michelle and 31 of Asia’s top beauty creators on YouTube, and multi-day workshops with top beauty industry experts, magazine editors, celebrity makeup artists, and top beauty creators across 11 Asia Pacific cities: Sydney, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Singapore, Bangkok, and Taipei.
