Before Chinese New Year 2016 end, I realized I have not told you about an awesome event I went to right before Chinese New Year. The SK-II Chinese New Year Countdown Party 🙂 . I have already talked about the “New Phoenix” Limited Edition Facial Treatment Essence for 2016 Chinese New Year early January so I will not repeat that here and I thought this time I will talk about the event itself, held at Mid Valley Centre Court.

As I was running around events on that day itself, I reached Mid Valley quite early and went for a quiet down time coffee at Mini Mini Cafe. Partly I was extremely tired and sleep, partly I needed to sit down and think of a few things. Plus my legs are killing me from all the jumping in the morning 🙂 .

Usually there will be a few personalities or celebrities at every SK-II event. For this Chinese New year countdown party, Lawrence Wong and Soo Wincci are the invited guests. Xandra Ooi is once again the emcee for the event. And I want her dress! 😀

The “New Phoenix” Limited Edition Facial Treatment Essence for 2016 Chinese New Year has traditional Chinese paper cutting or ‘Jianzhi’ on the bottle so SK-II brought in paper cutting expert, Master Kow herself to the event. Master Kow has been working on the exact same phoenix paper cutting design as the one on the Facial Treatment Essence bottle prior before the event and she completed the phoenix paper-cutting design live for us.

Now, the star of the evening! So beautiful and I want one! Collecting these limited edition bottle has been quite fulfilling. I think this is the first time for me to see a Chinese New Year edition so it’s going to be precious 😉

I reached very early at the event. The second one to be precise so I have plenty of time for a photo without lots of people looking lol. I transformed from casual sporty look that I had in the morning to elegant in the evening. All I did was switching the shoes and I’m ready to go 🙂
