Thursday is my favourite day of the week as it is the day iHerb refreshed their weekly special. However this time around I am not eyeing on what’s on the weekly special but rather something new caught my eye. I would also want to place a bigger iHerb haul but as usual, I really don’t have anything I want so this iHerb haul is another small one. I’m happy with it!
The Hyalogic Facial Relax Face Serum (RM104.01) caught my attention mainly because of the name “facial relax”. I was curious so I clicked on the product to read the description. Oh my gosh! This is a face serum that acts like a botox. It contain Argireline as its 2nd ingredient. Argireline is a unique hexapeptide that is known as THE ingredient to relax and smooth expression lines such as forehead, smile lines and around the eyes. It’s a product to minimize the appearance of wrinkles so to speak. But I was caught with its ability to relax and smooth lines. Results in 30 days some more 😛 . I need that for my forehead wrinkles lol. This is a new product on iHerb so it was on some discounted price.
Then ELF Cosmetics brought in so many new products and I literally wanted to bag everything! In the end I only bought one item as I suddenly remembered I have tons of stash inside my secret Sephora warehouse in my room. Bummer lol! I have been on the lookout for a mask brush. This ELF Pore Refining Brush and Mask Tool (RM21.71) fits the bill.
I looked at my cart which only contain 2 items and I needed to get more stuff to bring the shipping fee down. At this point of time I think my DHL Express shipping fee was RM20++. It’s cheap but a bit waste if I only check out with just 2 items on hand. After some intense browsing, I really don’t have anything else I want so I grabbed the EOS Shave Cream in Lavender Jasmine (RM22.01) as a backup to my Vanilla version which I bought not too long ago. It was not a Shipping Saver item but it helps in a way. I love it so I bought another one just in case.
The last item I bought is an OG. Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer (RM27.18) is the eye primer I remember hunting Etude House store for it many years ago. It was always sold out because it was that good. If you like the Urban Decay one, you will love this more. Honestly Urban Decay one sucks but THIS IS THE BOMB. Eyeshadow stays on all day, no smudging, no creasing. It is also so much affordable than Urban Decay. I thought since my Too Faced Shadow Insurance is running out, why not.
Overall I paid RM14.28 for DHL Express Shipping. Now, that is way cheaper than the RM50++ I used to pay. I will not opt for Global Mail anymore as my Pixi Beauty parcel was lost after more than 2.5 months. iHerb kindly refunded me BUT I was told it will be just a one-time off courtesy. Knowing this, I will definitely not going to opt for Global Mail anymore even though it is free because it always got lost and iHerb already mentioned that there will be no more refund from them in the future. I would rather pay for DHL Express Shipping as it is trackable and safe.
