I am sure by now you know the cosmetic brand, By Terry. But did you know By Terry also have skin care AND fragrance line as well? I am not aware about the fragrance line until I went for Terry de Gunzburg Thé Glacé launch.

Thé Glacé Aqua Parfum is a perfume by Terry de Gunzburg, the Founder of By Terry. Terry describe this new scent as a chic, unique, magnetic, aquatic scent based on her herb garden. The fragrance opens up to a refreshing, sparkling Eau Fraîche summery scent, an olfactory tattoo in limited edition. When the scent tones down, I was pretty sure I’m smelling something that resembles a cologne. Not the manly type of cologne mind you, but a light refreshing one. It was…delicious! 😀

Not because I cannot afford to buy myself another bottle but it was something else. It is extra special as my name was engraved at the back of the bottle. So it holds a sentimental value to my heart, being the first Salvatore Ferragamo I own.

I like it when a fragrance is named as the BOSS. And today I’m going to be a little bit more bossy and tell you about HUGO BOSS’s new men fragrance – BOSS The Scent.

Throughout these few years of blogging, I’ve only reviewed one men fragrance. The one and only men fragrance which I wore daily to work just to get the feel of the fragrance on me. BOSS The Scent would be my second. Comparing to the first men fragrance experience, I am actually not as afraid as I was before. Let me just tell you in advance that I am a full on girly girl that you’ll ever met. Having to walk around smelling all masculine and fresh is really not my cup of tea. I was actually surprised that BOSS The Scent is not as I expected. I’ll tell you why 🙂

Estée Lauder Modern Muse Chic: Still a confident, independent, inspiring fragrance, with added BOLD, CREATIVE, STYLISH to it

After the successful Modern Muse fragrance launch in 2014, Estée Lauder released an extension to Modern Muse and that is the Modern Muse Chic. Modern Muse is my most reached perfume the entire half of 2014 up until now and I’m already on my last half of the bottle *yikes!*. When I found out that there will be an extension to my favourite perfume, I find myself having a mixed feeling. Is Modern Muse going to be discontinued? Is Modern Muse Chic the replacement for the original version? Will it carry the Sparkling Jasmine Accord note that I’m obsessed? What if I hate it?

It turns out I was scaring myself with all the insecure questions roaming inside my head. Modern Muse is here to stay and the “Chic” version is the BOLD, CREATIVE, STYLISH version of the original confident, independent, inspiring. Similar, but not the same.

Gucci Bamboo Eau de Parfum: Strong characteristic but yet graceful on the scent

Gucci made pretty good smelling fragrance all year round. I’ve said this before and I’m going to said it again. You can never go wrong with Gucci fragrance. I was blessed with a few Gucci fragrance and although I like them all, I can’t tell which is my favourite because they all smell so good.

Fresh from Gucci fragrance line, the brand introduced a new fragrance for her – Gucci Bamboo and it is already available for purchase.

The foundation of Gucci’s new Bamboo is to grab the brand’s most recognizable design signatures in references to Gucci woman of today, which is strong and graceful. Why bamboo? Well, bamboo has always been associated with strong characteristic for it’s natural strength survival will in extreme conditions. It is also elegant in a way and that, are what modern Gucci woman have in common with. Strength and confident, feminine, bendable but not breakable, adaptable, vital and fierce in facing changes in what life has to offer.

Dolce&Gabbana Dolce Floral Drops: Fresher, lighter and yet maintaining the scent of freshly picked white flowers sprinkled with dew

A year ago, Dolce&Gabbana launched a fresh floral fragrance last year namely Dolce and a year later today with Spring around the corner, Dolce&Gabbana releases Dolce Floral Drops. It’s the first extension of Dolce following the successful fragrance release last year.

Dolce&Gabbana Dolce Floral Drops will be able to cater to the group of users that are not into strong floral scent of the original Dolce. It is more of a fresh and light scent and yet still mimicking the scent of freshly picked white flowers sprinkled with dew.

I happened to like floral scent when it comes to my fragrance. The original Dolce fits the bill however I do admit that the floral scent is too strong. Dolce Floral Drops seems to be the answer and solution to that 🙂 . I do think it’s because a hint of freshness that was added into the concoction that neutralizes the floral scent to the right amount. It has the rare beauty of a fresh, floral scent. Bear in mind though, Dolce is Eau de Parfum while Dolce Floral Drops is Eau de Toilette. This new extension fragrance is inspired by the notes of Dolce Eau de Parfum, preserving its harmonious signature of white flowers together with a heart of White Amaryllis. Combining these ingredients with the lively and crisp green opening of Neroli leaves, that enriches its character and define its freshness right from the opening of the fragrance.
