Created back in 1973 by Dr. Crandall out of love for his dear wife who had sensitive skin, Physicians Formula IS the brand that developed the first hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, and dermatologist tested makeup. Fun fact: he is also the first makeup creator that puts SPF in makeup. Who knew!

Lifestyle Sunday: Men’s Health Women’s Health Night Run by AIA Vitality – Malaysia’s Largest Night Run Series

Running race junkie can now expect three times the fun from the Men’s Health Women’s Health Night Run by AIA Vitality as the popular night run series goes nationwide. Besides Putrajaya, the night run will now also take place in Penang and Johor, making this the largest run series in the country.

The Race Director for the Men’s Health Women’s Health Night Run by AIA Vitality will be 21st Century, who also directed the night run in 2015. The organizers are expecting a total of 33,000 registered runners for all cities. Entry fees are set at RM78 for 5km, RM88 for 12km, and RM98 for 21km course. If you register for all three races, there will be a 10% discount. The categories for the 12km and 21km races will be Men’s and Women’s Open and Men’s and Women’s Veteran, in addition to the 5km.

Clarins NEW Tri-Active Facial Treatments: Providing an immediate beauty and a total well-being results for the face, body, and mind

A few months ago, I went for a secret facial treatment by Clarins at Clarins Skin Spa KLCC. The mission? The try out their upcoming NEW Tri-Active Facial Treatments. Now, if you have been reading my blog since the beginning, you will know that I do not go for any facial except for Clarins. Clarins facial treatment focuses on massage techniques. There are no extraction and no machines. The facial from the beginning to the end are all using hand massage techniques. Something which I am familiar and used to by now.

While I was there waiting for the rest of the media friends to arrive, I cannot help but to ask Clarins PR & Communications Manager on the new Tri-Active Facial Treatments comparing to the existing treatments. I was told that they now uses all PRO products, with a few newly added skin problem targeted PRO products, and the formulation are now enhanced for quicker, immediate effects. And more massage techniques are included as well. My curiosity spikes up once again and asked “isn’t Clarins facial treatments are fully on massages? How much more massages can you put in?”. I was told it will be MORE and also the new facial treatments will focus more on the body massage as well. Another difference will be the treatment time. Previously it is 60 minutes, now it is 75 minutes due to the added massages. Now, that is really MORE 😀

Missha, Korea’s leading brand for cosmetics and skincare products re-enter Malaysia market

When I was invited over to the new Missha store opening at Sunway Pyramid, I agreed immediately after checking my event calendar. The calendar shows that I am available but what I had forgotten was I am available because I am going to Thailand. After the email was sent out only I remember I will be at Thailand. The excitement Missha gave me makes me forget about everything else. Can’t blame me. I used to buy Missha a lot 10 years ago with the help of an air stewardess. So imagine how shocked and happy I was when I read the email that Missha reentered Malaysia market. My trip to Thailand was postponed and I happily went for the store opening.

Missha’s first store is at Sunway Pyramid. I know what you are thinking. Why Sunway Pyramid? Why so far? I asked the owner of the distributorship for Missha Malaysia and he said Sunway Pyramid is actually the center of Korean beauty. You know what? I have to agree with him. The mall really has all the Korean beauty brands under one roof. Where else better than to open your first flagship store but Sunway Pyramid right? 😛
