I jumped into the “free 2 Big Breakfast” bandwagon today. I guess I was kinda slow huh 🙂
I wake up at 7am and mum followed me to McDonald at Kajang town. The queue line was insane. But it was quick though.
I bought a Big Breakfast meal (for mum’s son) and we get 2 Big Breakfast for free!
All 3 of us was full till lunch time haha.
Last week I popped in Clarins roadshow at KLCC and got myself 2 new products. My main concern is the water retention on my face due to medication.
I heard about the effectiveness of their star product; Shaping Facial Lift from a client of mine. One day, out of the blue moon I wanted to get this.
What this star product does.
Retailing at RM225. Kinda expensive but result matters.
Clarins star product is in a gold slim bottle.
The nozzle is no different from other skincare product in the market.
Also included in the box is their “Manual Auto-Lifting” Method booklet.
What was advised by Clarins BA is to use this method for effectiveness and not applying in sweeping or swirling mode like normal. This method will help with water retention.
Besides getting the Shaping Facial Lift, I also gotten this tube of Pure and Radiant Mask With Pink Clay in order to fulfill RM350 purchase limit for their Tier 1 promotion free gift set. Their BA highly recommend this as a deep cleansing mask.
What it does.
Do you know that Clarins product is Made in France? Well, I didn’t know that.
This product is retailing at RM124. Wow, I never bought or use such an expensive mask!
Although the mask contains pink clay, the tube is not pink at all. It’s green!
Instruction on how to use the mask. I must say, this is the easiest and hassle-free mask I ever use. I don’t have to worry about anything. Even if I pass the time limit it won’t burn my skin.
I like the protective seal on the nozzle indicating the tube is unopened and unused.

As I was interested with their hydration product, I was given HydraQuench Intensive Serum Bi-Phase 3ml to try (kinda pricey) before purchase.
What a crazy and nonsense day I had today. Traveling from Kajang -> Mid Valley -> KLCC -> Mid Valley again -> Kajang is just nonsense.

I needed to pick up my Doll Lash eyelash curler rubber replacement courtesy of Empro and to buy a Vincci shoe as I have a RM50 rebate voucher plus they have free Clinique stuff.
I picked up my Doll Lash eyelash curler rubber replacement first and waited for Vincci to open their store. Then I got myself a black pump and paid just RM39.10 after 10% discount and RM50 rebate. After that I headed to Clinique Service Centre (newly open) to redeem my free gift BUT was told redemption will only start after 12noon?? What the hell is wrong with people nowadays with the norm of using the phrase “redemption will only start after 12noon”. It’s not stated in promotional flyer and I was lazy to argue so what the heck.

Main reason is to get my Sisley Paris free gift and collect my reserved Mina April 2011 issue. But ended up getting this oversize clutch when I was about to enter Isetan. Sisley BA tried to sell me their “best-seller” which is a mask which is around RM200+? After that she tried conning me to buy their trial kit which is even more expensive at RM300+++. I just bought Clarins products a few days earlier and it’s impossible that I would spend another 300 to buy some product which I didn’t even know existed. Also I hated the smell.

Then I rushed back to Mid Valley at 11.30am to pick up my free gift from Clinique. Really waste of time, petrol, parking fees. If redemption starts at 12noon, they should state in the brochure! I think they’re just fooling me around. I shall email Clinique on this.
I redeemed a free sample of Crabtree & Evelyn Citron Honey & Coriander Skin Indulging Body Soufflé from Mid Valley outlet.
Body Soufflé is their version of body butter. It’s very rich so it’s recommended to apply this when you are about to go to bed.
Although I hate hate hate sachet sample, this I’m not hating at all. Crabtree & Evelyn is generous to pack this at 5g!
Lemon and coriander scent surprisingly matches each other very well. It doesn’t choke me and make me nauseas. I kinda like the smell.
These Organic Peppermint Tea packs were nicely ribbon-wrapped and the kind SA offered to us as I was curious what’s the nice green pack on the cashier counter.
I haven’t tried it yet so I’m not sure how it taste like. What I’m sure is that even the packaging are nice!
Yesterday was Clinique Happy Day and of course I went to collect a complimentary Clinique Happy fragrance vial 1.5ml.
Live Life, Live Libresse. . .that’s Libresse slogan. A few weeks ago I requested for Libresse sample and the parcel finally arrived last week and gosh I was in shock. I thought I would be getting 1 or 2 sanitary pad from Libresse but no no…I was sent tons of their sanitary packs!
This is how the sample pack looks like when I got it. The soft box was nicely packed and they even secure the closure with their brand sticker and wrapped with clear plastic wrapper.
Back view is also nice huh.
When I take off the clear wrapper and opened up the box, I saw a white paper and the samples.
Letter from Libresse. I’m happy seeing this appreciation letter. Their PR did a good job.
Gigantic sample pack! So nice and colourful!! I didn’t take out and count so I don’t know how many is inside. All I know is Libresse include in all their range and they are kind enough to include a pocket flyer so that we know which is which. So thoughtful of the staff in Libresse.
I really appreciate Libresse effort even in sending out samples. As soon as I opened the parcel and read the letter included, I wanted to send them a thank you note. Just a note to let them know they have done a very good job and I appreciate their effort very much. I will get that done after I’m finish with my special project on hand.
