Tips: How To Achieve a Soft and Smooth Heels

Oh man. I seems to be hit by one problem follow by another one and another one. Not sure if you ever heard about this myth before, I used to hear about people getting cracked heels from wearing strappy high heels often. Okay, here’s the thing. I’ve been wearing strappy high heels all my life. Nope. I don’t find my foot to be drier than usual nor do I suffer any cracked heels. Then I develop a new profound love for pumps so I stopped wearing strappy high heels. But because I have rather large foot, narrow pump hurt my toes a lot. So once in a while I take a breather or rather a break from pump to strappy high heels.

A few months ago I notice that my foot is rather err…ugly, dry and cracked. I asked my mum if this is cracked heels and mum said “oh yeah, that’s certainly cracked heels”. I panicked, then I make my brain work overtime for a home solution. Lucky for me, I have the tools at home, tried one very simple solution and it works well on me. Here’s my version of achieving a soft and smooth heels.

Car Tips: Dealing With Flat Tyre – It’s Not As Complicated & Scary As You Think

As usual on a Saturday morning I woke up at 6am to fetch my parents to the wet market. Many people don’t understand why so early and our family constantly get this curious question. The explanation is simple – you get the freshest vegetables, meat, fruits and many more at the earliest of the morning. Now back to the story. As usual I woke up, brush my teeth, wash my face and went straight to start my car (in my pyjamas of course lol). As I reverse out the car and waited for my parents to get in, mum knocked on my window while mumbling something. I wind down the passenger side window and I heard her saying something about “no more”. I thought she’s telling me that the reverse light or 3rd light no more light aka light bulb burnt out cause I couldn’t hear properly. Mum repeated and this time I heard it loud and clear. She was trying to tell me that my tyre is flat.

Okay, something about my parents on cars. Both of them have no clue and knowledge on car. When I first got this car with 17″ rims and running on a 205/40/R17 set of tyres, they always thought my tyres are flat or not enough air. There are also times I get conman knocking on my window at the market telling me I have flat tyres and he can help me with a small fee. Hah! They must have thought I know nuts about cars eh? 🙂 The real fact is the tyres that I’m using are the thin type. So they looked like they are flat 🙂

So today is the best time to share with you a few simple tips on how you can overcome this flat tyre issue…like a man 😀

Car Tips1
This morning’s trip to the wet market are cancelled as I couldn’t drive with flat rear tyre. So I drove back in to the porch and was shocked to see that my super thin tyres are touching the ground! I took out my trusty handy inflator and started to fill in air, at 6.15am in the morning with loud and noisy inflator haha. Mine is not the type that fill in air and fix the hole because those type can only be use once or a few times. Mine is just the air filler.

Bad Online Shopping Experience: Kiss & Tell

As I am writing this I still feel very disappointed with my recent purchase at a highly recommended online store – Kiss & Tell.

I ordered this beautiful peep toe nude pump for RM99 after confirming the size with the seller. I was even given a RM10 discount for subscribing to their newsletter. And the best part? PosLaju is free too. Customer service was also top notch. The shoe delivery was delayed unexpectedly and the seller took the initiative to drop me an email on it which I am fine. All is still good until I received the shoe today.

The first thing I notice as soon as I took the shoe out from the box is this.

The bottom of this “new” shoe seems dirty and scratchy. It seems like someone has been wearing it? Even shoes on display at Vincci which has worn by countless people doesn’t even look as bad as this!

The Skin Allergy What, Why and How. Plus Some Tips on How I Overcome This Difficult Time

I thought I can stay away from blogging for a while but I missed blogging! Couldn’t even stay hiatus for more than a few day gosh 😀

I bet you have now heard about what happen to BunBun Makeup Tips. Her skin allergy reminds me very much about what happened to me December last year. If you are new to this lil blog, you might want to check this post out. Warning – Ugly picture ahead! Before I found out about BunBun Makeup Tips I already planned this topic in my editorial calendar that somehow was delayed. I wanted to talk about skin allergy and how I overcome it based on my own experience. Who else in a better position to talk about this if not me as I had been through one severe allergy and one near-severe allergy. I might missed a few points which you might know that I don’t know so please be kind 🙂

Many of you are aware of my first encounter to skin allergy…a severe one too. What you didn’t know is that I had a second attack which is on a smaller scale that I managed to counter fight. My skin was super sensitive to my then current skin care products after the allergy thus the second allergy attack. I went to the wrong doctor on my first skin allergy. It was a skin clinic that only prescribe me with anti-itch meds and a very small jar of cream which didn’t even last me as long as they think it should be. It took me nearly a month to fully recover. On the second attack which is in January this year I went to a normal doctor instead. Because I was needed to attend an event representing my company, that is the only clinic I know that still operate at that hour. The best part is they accept my company’s AIA medical card. I’ll talk about this awesome doctor later in this post. Some facts on skin allergy shall we?

Help! My Beauty Product Stash is Out of Control!

How many of you scream out like that everytime you look at your stash of goodies in the drawer? I do that all the time. Sometimes I even tried to avoid the drawer but sometimes I was forced to face the reality when I need to double check what I had and what I don’t have.

TrainToUseUpAllProduct1
My mission lately is to use up as many trial size and sample as I can. I’m quite happy with my decision because I’ve been throwing tubes and jars away on daily basis. That is such an achievement I tell you. But what about full size products? Simple.

Does It Matter How Skin Care Is Applied? Not To Me

Many moons ago I apply my skin care just like normal; dab and spread in circular motion. That is what everyone is doing back then. When I really get into the whole skin care craze back in March 2011 with Clarins, that was a whole turning point for me. Clarins have their own signature application method for certain product and recommended application method for the rest. In all the range and products available from Clarins, not once I was told to “apply like normal”.

At first it was troublesome for me. I mean all the warm product on both palm, pat all over face and then only press from inner face to outer is too time consuming! I was so sure I’d get lazy in the end and stop applying skin care. As time goes by, as more and more Clarins product I bought to use I finally get hold of all the application routine. I guess I had gotten used to it. According to Clarins it is not recommended to rub in / spread skin care onto face as we apply. This could loosen the skin texture which will resulted in sagging skin at older age. Honestly I’ve never heard it before. I’ve watched “Nu Ren Wo Zui Da” for so many years and I never heard that being recommended nor have I saw that before too. Well anyway I carried on the tradition for almost 2 years.
