Kanebo Lunasol Make Up - Face Review: Make Up

Review: The Highly Raved Kanebo Lunasol Modeling Water Liquid Foundation #OC02 is Not a Joke

I had heard so much about Lunasol’s liquid foundation but frankly speaking I had never wanted to check it out as I’m not into liquid foundation previously. Now that I’m hooked to foundation my mind drifted once again to Lunasol.

Thanks to a pink carpet event organized by Vanity Trove Malaysia in collaboration with Kanebo Malaysia, I booked myself for a session slot and that session comes with a special Kanebo trove. There it was…Lunasol Modeling Water Liquid Foundation sitting in the trove waiting to be discovered. The one I had was a lighter shade in OC02 that suits my skin tone quite well.

Guerlain Make Up - Face Review: Make Up

Review: If You Are Attracted to Guerlain’s Illuminating Pearls, Most Probably You’ll Like Guerlain Meteorites Perles Light-Diffusing Perfecting Primer

Just when I was about to finish the last bit of my Guerlain Meteorites Perles Light-Diffusing Perfecting Primer, I realized that I have not review this makeup base yet. Not too late I hope. At least this is permanent at the counter, not limited edition 🙂

According to Guerlain, this is a light-diffusing base with magical correcting and perfecting pearls. These pearls is soaked in a cool gel with an unrivalled water content that are meant to revitalise the skin. I know, I know. Pearls suspending in gel = interesting.

Guerlain73
For some reason many people thought that the pearls will be dispense out pearl by pearl. I have no idea who planted these thought but think about it…how is it possible? The pearls are much more bigger than the nozzle :). What’s amazing is that these pearls doesn’t melt in the bottle. It stays suspended in the gel. Interesting eh?

Clarins Make Up - Face Review: Make Up

Review: Clarins UV Plus HP Perfecting Cream High Protection BB Cream SPF40; 100% Mineral with Anti-UVA, Anti-UVB, Anti-Oxidant and Anti-Pollution

“Clarins coming out with BB Cream? Serious?” That was my impression when I first got to know that Clarins now join in the BB Cream fun. Why now? Why not CC Cream? This were the questions I asked Erinn Tan; Clarins Beauty Trainer a few weeks ago during the preview session of White Plus Total Luminescent and UV Plus HP BB Cream. According to Erinn, only now Clarins came out with BB Cream because of the market demand from consumers. Erinn added that Clarins is not a trend follower brand. Although the market now tilted towards the CC Cream revolution, Clarins refuse to follow that trend to come out with a CC Cream. But rest assured that Clarins UV Plus HP BB Cream utilizes CC Cream technology. Good to know that.

Let me give you a crash course on Clarins’ UV Plus HP Day Screen High Protection range. The new revamped version of UV Plus HP Day Screen High Protection is formulated with a unique antioxidant action thanks to an exceptional Cantaloupe Melon extract. Cantaloupe Melon is a natural fruit with valuable high-performance antioxidant benefits, from the region of Provence in France. It has the natural wealth of antioxidants which delivers great anti-aging benefits. It’s so great that Clarins use cantaloupe melon extract as the key ingredient for the new UV Plus Day Screen High Protection SPF40. As a result? Skin remains fair, clear and youthful. GMO-free and non-hybrid, this variety is organically-framed and when compared with other types of melon, presents remarkable anti-ageing benefits.

In 2011 Clarins revamped their sunscreen and came out with 2 version – Neutral and Tinted. Then in 2012 Clarins released another version to the family – Beige. And in 2013…Perfecting Cream High Protection BB Cream was born.

Arty Professional Make Up - Face Review: Make Up

Review: Arty Professional Shimmer Compact Powder; Too Shimmering for Face But Yet Excellent as Highlighter

If I look at the name and description of the box for this Arty Professional Shimmer Compact Powder I can easily mistaken this as compact powder with shimmer but in fact this lovely is actually face highlighter. I hope I get it right because that’s how I’m using it and that’s how it’s going to be for me 🙂

Arty22
This compact comes with a black velvet pouch. How often do you see compact powder that came with a velvet pouch? I do see some brands having it but not all. So when I saw that Arty Professional Shimmer Compact Powder comes with one, I put a tick on the “Like” checklist to approve it.

Bioré Make Up - Remover Review: Make Up

Review: Bioré Cleansing Oil; The Good, Simple & Affordable Makeup Remover

The one makeup remover that I’ve gone through bottles and bottles 2 years ago is the Bioré Cleansing Oil. 2 years ago I hated cleansing oil. I never knew about cleansing milk before and cleansing oil is the only product that was introduced to me. I hated it for being oily and messy. I hated it for being such a troublesome to use. I hated it for leaving my face oily and yucky. Then I get to know about cleansing milk all thanks to Clarins and I was on the cleansing milk bandwagon till to date.

Last year I went for a budget shopping at Watsons for the blog. If you missed the post, click here. One of the item that I picked up is the Bioré Cleansing Oil. And of course I need to use all the products I bought so I did. Slowly. Earlier this month I took out the Bioré Cleansing Oil to use and it actually felt really good on my face. I tried to recall why I fell off the bandwagon and hated it because it was really good. My guess is I have no proper idea how to use the product.

So here I am; totally into cleansing oil. I reached for this or my Eve Lom Cleanser (also emulsify to oil) to remove my makeup leaving all my cleansing milk sitting at one corner. Awww I promise I’ll be back milky!

Biore13
I like that the bottle pump is never faulty, it pumps sufficient product out and comes with a plastic stopper for travelling. The nozzle is slim and long which I appreciate very much. I hate hate hateeee short nozzle because that means my hands would need to be placed nearer to the bottle body and there’s a high possibility that I’ll splash some of the oil onto it. You know I’m a bit of a clean freak with my skin care right?

Review: Guerlain Meteorites Perles du Paradis – “Honey, I Blew Up The Balls”

As many Guerlain Meteorites Perles users would said “no more balls”, I said the same too. I told myself I’ll not get anymore but seems like I was lying to myself. Are you kidding me? The Guerlain Meteorites Perles du Paradis from Spring Color collection 2013 is so hard to resist!

Say hello to my precious – Guerlain Meteorites Perles du Paradis. Even the name is also glamorous. Wait till I get into details cause you’d be kicking yourself again for giving this a miss.

Guerlain63
To be frank, the first thing that draw my soul to Guerlain Meteorites Perles du Paradis was the pastel pink can. And of course that black outlined rosette which is the logo for Meteorites Perles. Such a pretty. I could stare at this whole day.
