Interestingly, when photos of the NEW SK-II Mid-Day Miracle Essence and Mid-Night Miracle Essence popped up on the internet, I was wondering what it was because of the description on the bottle and that it doesn’t looked like a mist at all. What’s even more interesting is that the word “Pitera” printed on the bottle. I read that this new duo are actually the on-the-go version of the famous Facial Treatment Essence.

I found out that the inspiration behind this duo came from SK-II Global Brand Ambassador and Academy award-winning actress Cate Blanchett herself. When asked at the recent Google Hangout Live chat recently on how she keep her skin fresh all day while on-the-go, Cate said that she would decanted out a small amount of Facial Treatment Essence and put it into a small spray bottle. She would sit at the back of the car and mist all over her face. This small little trick helped to keep her skin moisturize from day to night even under the heavy makeup. Now that SK-II had came out with the mist version for the convenient of everyone who wish to bring their favourite Facial Treatment Essence out and about, let’s see how does it fare on our Malaysia hot humid weather and if it really does wonders for me as it does to Cate Blanchett 😀

If you still don’t know yet, Pure Beauty is a Korean skincare brand from Korea, brought in by Watsons Malaysia and it’s available exclusively at Watsons stores only.

As I get older, I get obsessed with maintaining youthful skin and that includes getting obsessed with anti-aging products. I’m blessed with a ‘complicated’ skin that are not dry therefore I didn’t need to be worry about wrinkles. Worship Superfruit Antioxidant Serum is a water-based serum accenting the antioxidant potency of New Zealand-grown superfrui that helps the skin to maintain its youthfulness. It did it by fortifying skin cells against early ageing and free radical damage. Now that’s not too complicated to understand, isn’t it? 😀

When Innisfree had it’s store opening at Sunway Pyramid back in December 2014, I was so busy with work that I couldn’t sneak out to the opening. Heck, I was too busy to even reply the email. That’s how busy I was with work. Do Not Age with Dr. Brandt Transforming Pearl Serum: A Madonna’s favourite that probably works better on skin with visible signs of aging

Something about me. I’m not that proactive in event. The reality is, all of the product launch event comes with a mini game or activity to spice up the overall agenda. You know, the kind of activity that gets your brain moving after a dull day at work. However, I’m not into such activity. Not because the organizers did a bad job in this matter but when I go to event, I’m getting away from the work so I want to just relax, mingle with my fellow friends, laugh, feel the product, learn about the product and go home happily. I don’t wanna crack my brain at all. Not even a bit!

So when it’s ‘game’ time, I usually slide down the chair so that I’m half hidden underneath the crowd. Let’s face it. I’m not creative if you ask me to create something middle of the day and I’m usually the unlucky one when it comes to contest. I attended the Dr. Brandt Do Not Age blogger event a few months ago and when it’s game time, I cringed. But when I found out that the game is crossword puzzle, for some odd reason I suddenly woke up from feeling miserable and all hyped up. Even I surprised myself. THIS, I’m interested! Long story cut short, the fastest person to finish the crossword puzzle get to win a full size bottle of Do Not Age with Dr. Brandt Transforming Pearl Serum worth RM499 and I won it. It’s not easy at all since the paper that was given to us was merely a A6 size (quarter of A4 paper) and the words are so small that one can go blind staring it. Again for some very odd reason, the words just popped out in front of my eyes.

Initially I didn’t want to review this serum because as you know, it’s very hard for me to gauge whether anti-aging product works on me due to the fact that I don’t have visible signs of aging. Philosophy The Microdelivery Peel: Two-phase Vitamin C resurfacing and replenishing peel for a 3-minute skin makeover

It is not a secret I love facial scrub. I think it’s the best product to get rid of all the dead skin cells and rejuvenate the skin, especially that I have acne marks to lighten. I’m trying to scrub lesser these days so that I don’t overdo it and causes my skin to get even more oilier. So yes, I stopped stocking up facial scrub since one year ago. What I have in my stash could last me for a good full year now that I do scrub my face lesser.

When I first tried The Microdelivery Peel at the media launch of Philosophy back in February 2014, I was literally having the ooohhhs and aahhhs moment because I was fascinated on how two products work as one. It’s interesting, I feel like a scientist, the product feels good on the back of my hand and this is not just any in-home peel but a Vitamin C peel system. I get to bring home a set, used it all up and this is my repurchase set 🙂

When you’re at Sephora, you will find this white huge box with lots of words on the top flap. Just look for one that says “The Microdelivery Peel”. The box’s top flap is removable. Well, not removable completely type of removable. You can actually open up the top flap to see the content on the inside.
