Review: Sampar So Much to Dew Midnight Mask – The Rescue Mask For Lazy Days

I remember when this Sampar So Much to Dew Midnight Mask was launched last year I was attracted to it after hearing the explanation and testimonial from Sampar International Training Manager; Mélanie Montier. Mélanie said that if we feel that the skin condition was in bad state and in need of emergency rescue, So Much to Dew Midnight Mask is the one that we should reach to.

Well, my skin’s bad state normally would means pimples popping out here and there. Not quite the dry, harsh or skin peeling state. But that doesn’t stop me from leaning over to this overnight mask. That leaning could only mean I was too lazy for a proper night skin care regime 🙂

Review: My Quest for Hydrated Skin Continues with Sampar Skin Quenching Mist

Healthy skin is well hydrated skin. That’s the philosophy I hold on to. I’m obsessed with skin care products that claimed to give me hydrated skin. So when Sampar sent me a bottle of their Skin Quenching Mist to try, I was more than delighted. I mean just look at the name of the product; Skin Quenching. Doesn’t it sound delicious? Maybe not to you but it is to me! Quench my thirsty skin pleeeaaassseeee.

Marula Oil Review: Skin Care Skin Care - Beauty Oil Skin Care - Hydrating Skin Care - Wrinkle / Fine Lines

Review: Marula Oil; The Purest Facial Oil From The Leakey Collection

First of all sorry for the super late review post that I was suppose to post up earlier. I was piled with lots of backlog last month and I’m glad I can finally get to my precious Marula Oil review now. Hope it’s not too late!

Last month I attended the Malaysia launch and did a brand introduction post on Marula Oil from The Leakey Collection. I also helped with inviting a few of my blogger friends to attend this exclusive and intimate launch. Hope you’ve been reading that previously as I’m not going to elaborate deeply into how, what and why but instead I’m going to review the product after using it for more than a month now.

Marula Oil is an East African product long-renowned for it’s superb anti-aging and healing properties. It is wild-harvested from marula nuts in East Africa and cold-pressed to retain it’s full goodness. Did you know that a 54 kilos of marula nut is needed to produce into this 50ml bottle? Now you know. Marula Oil is different from any other beauty oil that you’ve heard for example argan oil. It contain more oleic acids and antioxidants than grapeseed or organ oil.

Each bottle is packaged in a paper box securely. The inner lid with a hole tucked on the top cap of the bottle so that the bottle is not able to move that easily in the box. The shelf life of the product is 3 years. Once opened it is recommended to finish the bottle within 6 months.

Review: Sampar Ultra-Hydrating Fluid

I have another Sampar review for you today. Just a easy peasy one on a Monday morning. The product that I’m gonna talk about today is Ultra-Hydrating Fluid which is also a hydrating moisturizer in short.

I’m pretty sure by now everyone is very conscious with a proper hydrated face and implementing the right moisturizer into our skin care regime. I used to think that I don’t need any moisturizer as I have oily skin. It turns out I’m not oily skin but I’m more to combination skin type and although my face is oily at some times I do get skin flakes / peeling. Then only I found out my skin is actually dehydrated! How is it possible that my skin is dehydrated when it’s secreting oil at the same time? Well the explanation to that is pretty simple. The water and oil level must be the same beneath our skin. Once the water level drop the senses in our skin tells the oil gland to produce more oil to keep the skin moisturize. Thus the oily face. If our skin is properly moisturized you’d notice the changes in the skin’s oil secretion.

Now I don’t have skin flakes / peeling. I make sure I keep my skin hydrated at all times. That’s why I can tell you I’m obsessed with the word “hydrating” and I never ran out of hydrating product as I stock them up more than any other skin care. So when I was given a 15ml of  Sampar Ultra-Hydrating Fluid I go “ahhhh another hydrating moisturizer yay!”.

The actual size of this is actually 50ml which comes with a more luxurious bottle and pump. Nonetheless my trial size / miniature (not sample) is cute and comes with a pump too.

Human Heart Nature Review: Skin Care Skin Care - Hydrating

Review: Human Heart Nature 100% Natural Moisturizing Day Fluid with 15 Vitamins & Minerals

I’m crazy obsessed with hydrating products. I may be a combination skin type but my skin tend to get dry at some times. I’m one of the batch of girls that believe nothing can’t be solved as long as we have a proper moisturized skin. Don’t you agree? 🙂

Recently I was introduced to a brand originated from Philippines; Human Heart Nature.

Human Heart Nature is a 100% Philippine made brand of natural cosmetics that was established to help provide livelihood for Gawad Kalinga residents and support Filipino farmers by sourcing natural raw material locally. These world-class products do not contain potentially harmful chemicals such as SLS/SLES, parabens, pthalates, or mineral oil. These are effective AND affordable natural products that feel good on your skin as they do in your heart.

From the bottle itself you can see that the Natural Moisturizing Day Fluid is enhanced with lots of vitamins. Normal moisturizer only gives you maybe one vitamin? This day moisturizer from Human Heart Nature gives you not one but FIFTEEN (15) vitamins and minerals that provide your skin the nutrient-boost it needs to start the day looking fabulous. The extra dose of Vitamin E, nature’s richest antioxidant is meant to help to reduce the risk of sun damage.

Let’s talk about the bottle and packaging. The one I received for review doesn’t comes with a box. Not an issue for me as the info on the bottle itself already provides me with all the info that I need.

I like the bottle. It’s well-made and I love the pump system especially. It works well in dispensing just the right amount of products out.

Clinique Review: Skin Care Skin Care - Hydrating

Review: Revisiting Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief

I own three deluxe sample of Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief in 5mls and 7ml respectively. I’ve used up a whole jar of 5ml and I couldn’t see or feel the different at all so I stop using it. Moisture Surge has been sitting in my HELMER drawer for 6 months now and recently I revisited this Clinique’s best seller for a skin S.O.S.

Every brand counter I visited for the past 1 month said I have dehydrated skin. Perricone MD, Estee Lauder, Clarins, Clinique, Origins, Guerlain, Dior…they all said the same thing. I’ve been using extensively on both Clarins HydraQuench Intensive Serum Bi-Phase and Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Gel but it seems like my skin has reached to a dry stage that those two daily staple is not enough anymore. I have a few hydration skin care set which I’m currently testing and then I remembered I have a few jar of Clinique Moisture Surge somewhere. I managed to find em’ and gave them another go.

Clinique Moisture Surge is not a cream but it’s in gel form. Very similar to Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Gel. This give me a cooling sensation upon application. I do not press on to my face like other skin care but with this I just applied normally. I find that this way it works better than pressing on.

I only use this during the odd period where I have nothing on the skin. You know. The time in between removing make ups after work to bed time? That’s when I slap this onto my face generously. I don’t apply my night skin care right after shower because my face would be oily while watching tv and by the time I’m ready for bed, I can’t stand the things on my face. So normally I’ll apply my night skin care right before I jump on the bed.
