Eh? Where is my Estée Lauder mask?
That was me two weeks ago when I realized I have misplaced my Estée Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Mask Boost after a quick spring cleaning of the vanity table. My skin has been so dry. I know, that is odd coming from me as I have always complaint about oily skin for the entire of my life. The only cream mask that I knew will boost my skin is Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Mask Boost.
I am considered as someone brave to try anything when it comes to beauty. I remember many years ago when I had severe skin allergy attack, a number of people asked if I will be vary on what to try on after the incident or I will be back to my normal self. The answer I gave was I will still try whatever beauty tips, tricks, and products 🙂
When I told people I used sleeping mask every night for a whole month to test out a beauty myth, I was called crazy as sleeping mask is not supposed to be used every night. However, that is not the same case with facial sheet mask. You can use it every single day continuously, even up to a few sheets per day and ended up with the best skin you ever had. I had tried this beauty trick and even written about it. But does it work for every single mask and brand? What I like about Sephora is that members get rewarded with birthday gift every year. Every year I get to claim my birthday gift on any day as long as it is within my birthday month i.e. September. This year however I was not allowed to claim my birthday gift. It seems that Sephora had changed their policy. An email notification will only be sent one week AFTER the actual birthday. No biggie about that as I received my email in just a few days after my birthday. And if I make a purchase, I will be rewarded with double points. I took this opportunity to check out the new sleeping mask but went home with Sephora Orchid Eye Mask instead 😀
My concern for the eye area has always been the fine lines and wrinkles. Those are signs of aging unfortunately, which is probably the one and only main concern for me when it comes to aging as these nasty lines makes me look older and haggard. There are a handful or two selections for their eye mask. I went with Orchid after talking to the Elaine, the friendly BA at Sephora IOI City Mall *thanks Elaine for the helpful assistance*!

I am a sucker for packaging. Usually it’s pretty cute packaging that always suck me into buying but in GLAMGLOW’s case, if I were to spend RM255 on ONE product, I would expect a darn good packaging. Some said the box is unnecessary. I guess it depends on each individual. I am not a bit bothered by the outer box. I only wish the box is metal or something so I can reuse for beauty storage. Oh and all GLAMGLOW products packaging are designed personally by it’s co-founder Glenn Dellimore 🙂
As someone who prefer to slather generous layers and layers of skincare before bed, sleeping mask is not necessary for me. Among all the limited and exclusive holiday collection, Peter Thomas Roth Skinstant Mask Magic Sephora Exclusive is the one and only skin care set that I really wanted to bag home. I didn’t because it was retailing at RM208. The thought of buying three little 50ml pot of gel mask at 200 bucks is not justifiable for me. I always take a peek at the price during Sephora holiday collection markdown everytime I’m at Sephora but the price remains at RM208. That was until a month later where I casually stroll pass this set, reverse and took a double glance at the price because it was reduced to RM145! Initially I wanted to get Marc Jacobs eyeshadow palette and I couldn’t decided which to buy so I went home with Peter Thomas Roth Skinstant Mask Magic Sephora Exclusive instead 🙂
Peter Thomas Roth gel masks has been in my wishlist ever since I read about them from Paris B. Everytime I read about a product review from Paris B, she makes me wanting to sneak out from work to buy it. All.the.time. Without fail lol.
