Of all the holiday collection this year, I’m leaning more towards Urban Decay after watching Samantha Schuerman’s first impression review and swatches on the Vice 3 palette. How can I not be? It comes with a matching pouch as well! In the video, Samantha whipped out the Vice 2 palette (at 2.03 minute) for comparison and heck I want Vice 2 too! I managed to track down a brand new Vice 2 palette after searching online for a few weeks so now Vice 3 is in my wish list.
The compilation for Urban Decay Holiday Collection gift guide is a breeze. I had some help from Urban Decay Malaysia 😀 . So now let’s see what Urban Decay had put up for us the makeup junkie besides the Vice 2 palette, shall we?

There has been numerous life hack ideas on how you can clean or even dry your makeup brushes at home at your convenience. I happen to be someone that slide on a Brush Guard sleeve on each brushes, tilt it upside down and put the brushes in a glass. It’s the same method that I’ve been practising and posted in this Tips: How to Clean Your Dirty Brush since early 2012.
Recently I stumbled upon a brilliant method from Instagram, which unfortunately I’ve forgotten who it was from and my Instagram has gone wonky as I was typing this so I’m unable to link her here but I will once I can access to Instagram but I finally found her after a full day of searching in Instagram like a headless chicken and I found her through other people who share her method. Girl, your method is my favourite!
A few weeks ago I walk into Watsons looking for the cheapest drugstore facial scrub and walk out of Guardian instead with the most expensive scrub available – St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub. I’ve ran out of counter brand facial scrub and I thought I would try something more affordable as recommended by all of you previously. My requirement for a facial scrub is simple. I prefer something with scrub beads in it and something that gives me the scrub-like feeling when using. Most of the scrub I see is either too watery or with no beads at all. I’m very traditional on this. A scrub need to look and feel like a scrub. St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub gives me just that.
What’s ironic was I used to hate St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub. I remember about 10 years ago I bought a tube of this scrub as it was ‘the’ scrub highly raved and recommended by everyone. I hated it so much because the scent is smelly and unbearable. Fast forward to a few years later, once again I heard my friends talking about this scrub being the best they’ve ever used. I cannot help but to wonder how can they tolerate with such a yucky smell on their face. When I saw this newly improved St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub, I have no choice but to flipped the cap open and took a sniff. Now I don’t do this normally but I had to smell it. And it smells so good!
