Same as every past years, SK-II Malaysia came out with special limited edition Facial Treatment Essence bottle and this year the iconic bottle get a touch beauty by Taiwanese digital artist Po-Chih Huang who is the winner of the prestigious Taipei Arts Awards Grand Prize in 2013 and recognized as one of the top emerging artists to watch especially with his win in the most significant art prize for young artists in Taiwan. He has transformed the classic bottle with his signature artistic technique to create an exclusive collection for the iconic brand. Besides that gifting this year will not be completed with an array of special curated holiday gift sets.
This partnership is the first of SK-II’s efforts to support emerging young artists with idea stemming from SK-II’s belief in empowerment and transformation.
The inspiration for this year’s collaboration was based on Po-Chih Huang’s innovative style of transforming beauty, particularly his creative technique of working with flowers to bring out the different aspects of their beauty. This effort coincides with SK-II’s philosophy of touching women’s lives through miracle transformations. As the theme evolves around beauty and vitality of flowers through transformation, this year’s collection celebrates everlasting beauty as a tribute to Pitera™’s transformative power as well. There are four types of flowers and colors all together and each of the design represents a different facet of beauty – passion, elegance, compassion and wisdom.
Did you know that Tony Moly has been in Malaysia for the past 4 years? Frequent shopper of Sg. Wang Plaza would probably know because the previous distributor company had an outlet there but being someone who doesn’t step a foot into Sg. Wang Plaza, I have no idea at all. All these while I’ve been stalking Tony Moly products through other online reseller but never once have I order anything as I wasn’t sure if it’s authentic or imitation products.
Yesterday, Indispensable Beauty Sdn Bhd who is one of Tony Moly Malaysia’s franchisee held a grand opening of their first flagship store strategically located at Pavilion KL. If you’ve been walking around Pavilion for the past two weeks or so, you would have notice the store at 5th floor.
It’s Friday today and we all know what that means. It’s going to be a lazy day for most people and that includes me. I wouldn’t want to put up something heavy so let me tell you about an interesting event by Aveda that I went to last Friday. The event is all about introducing Aveda and focusing on Invati™ range. I really don’t know what else I can talk about Aveda and Invati™ this time because I’ve went for the press launch back in 2012, which you can read all about it here, I’ve reviewed the whole Invati™ range, which you can read here, ran two giveaway, had an event and a few more activities. Phew 😀 . Nowadays I don’t talk about what went down at an event however I had fun at this one and I wanted to note it down 🙂
For those of you who just followed me, hello there 🙂 and I thought of going through quickly with you on what is Aveda and Invati™ aight?
Comparing to Tarte Cosmetics Sweet Dreams Holiday Collection 2014 which I posted last week, Too Faced is wayyyy easier to compile because the brand offers slightly lesser holiday sets and all the sets is not scattered over different stores. However, same as Tarte, I find it rather odd that they don’t feature all their holiday collection in the official website. That makes the compiling work harder.
But anyway, let’s take a look at what Too Faced has to offer this year. As usual, disclaimer. I might missed one of two holiday sets and also bear in mind these may or may not be available in Malaysia 🙂
I’m pretty excited with this news. As you know, I am a huge fan of Burberry Beauty and it’s makeup line. Burberry today unveiled a series of new mascaras, eyeliners and brow definers to the Burberry Eyes collection. I’ve first got to know about this new additions from essiebutton Youtube channel some time ago. All I can remember was the brow definers 😀
These new additions to the Burberry Eyes collection is developed by Burberry Make-up Artistic Consultant Wendy Rowe, under the creative direction of Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer, Christopher Bailey, the new products can be used to create a youthful look of naturally sculpted, full brows with defined eyes and enhanced lashes.
Wendy Rowe Artistic Consultant for Burberry Make-up says, “The new Burberry Make-up products effortlessly create the illusion of a natural, larger eye.“
