Many many years ago I started off my journey into makeup by getting Korean and American brands by joining online sprees. My repeat order has always been Missha and ELF. ELF was my favourite because of the price. It is US$1 per item for the basic line, which is known as Essential line now. Most spree cost about RM6 per item, a bit high after conversation but hey, the seller got to earn a bit too for organizing the spree right? 🙂 . So I was more than happy to pay RM6 per ELF item.
One particular item that I ordered the most is ELF Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15. I have no idea what Tinted Moisturizer is at that time. It looks like a foundation but I remember hating it very much because the coverage was so sheer that none of my acne marks were covered. Not even a tiny bit. I ended up giving away most of it to my friends, who I’m sure doesn’t know a clue what to do with it too lol.
While I was browsing for stuffs to order on iHerb, I stumbled upon this ELF Tinted Moisturizer again. So I started googling and I found out that this best-seller product is actually discontinued and was replaced with ELF Studio Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20. So I order one ELF Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 #Apricot Beige from iHerb for USD$1.99. Initially I wanted to order three but since I can’t remember much about it, I only order one. Plus iHerb only have one shade. I suppose this is the leftover stock after the product was discontinued.
It is not a secret I love facial scrub. I think it’s the best product to get rid of all the dead skin cells and rejuvenate the skin, especially that I have acne marks to lighten. I’m trying to scrub lesser these days so that I don’t overdo it and causes my skin to get even more oilier. So yes, I stopped stocking up facial scrub since one year ago. What I have in my stash could last me for a good full year now that I do scrub my face lesser.
When I first tried The Microdelivery Peel at the media launch of Philosophy back in February 2014, I was literally having the ooohhhs and aahhhs moment because I was fascinated on how two products work as one. It’s interesting, I feel like a scientist, the product feels good on the back of my hand and this is not just any in-home peel but a Vitamin C peel system. I get to bring home a set, used it all up and this is my repurchase set 🙂
When you’re at Sephora, you will find this white huge box with lots of words on the top flap. Just look for one that says “The Microdelivery Peel”. The box’s top flap is removable. Well, not removable completely type of removable. You can actually open up the top flap to see the content on the inside.
I haven’t been doing a haul post, haven’t I? I’ve been a good girl for the past three months ever since I quit my job and stays at home for a short break. I do buy small little thing like RM5 Daiso Eye Brow Pencil, RM5 Daiso brush holder or RM23 The Brush Guard but there was no major haul that could break the bank. Now that I’m going back to work soon, I’ve slowly started with my usual Sunday beauty shopping at KLCC and yesterday I gave myself a day off and spend a tiny bit of money on some stuff.
This is my haul.
I never knew anniversary for hand cream ever existed but I just found out L’Occitane Shea Butter hand cream turns 20 this year. Last Friday I received their newsletter on a 10ml hand cream redemption. I registered, chose my preferred outlet for redemption and I received the email notification immediately.
After nearly three years of getting both feet into a proper skincare regime, I’ve toned down a lot on mixing my skincare products. The last time I did an update on My Latest Day & Night Skin Care Routine is back in 2012. That’s two years ago! A lot has changed since then. A few months ago I’ve been thinking to do an update on my current skincare routine but was distracted to something else. Now is the perfect timing as I’ve recently embark on a new skincare range. Just one brand, with five products only. Yes, no more three serums layering on each other 😀
Let me introduce to you my current skincare routine. I’m using none other than Shizens, starting from cleanser down to moisturiser.
This might come shocking to you but can you believe that Shizens is my first full range of skincare that I’ve ever used? I never believe in using a full set of the same brand skincare all these while. After one full month of embarking on this new journey, I must say it’s really an eye opening for me. You better get yourself a hot cup of coffee or cocoa because this will be a long post. Afterall I’m going to talk about FIVE products 🙂 . Don’t worry, I’ll try to keep it short and sweet this time.
During my younger days I suffer from seasonal dandruff condition. It comes and go. There was no dandruff shampoo that can ever get rid of my dandruff, that was until Selsun TVC appear again and again in between TVB dramas. One day I pick up a bottle and here I am. Still buying Selsun Blue Medicated Dandruff Treatment Shampoo whenever I need it.
Before I start, you might wonder how the heck am I able to use and review the shampoo without even removing the protective seal on the cap. Okay. This full size bottle is for photo purposes ya because I just bought a value pack and I’m using the smaller bottle. That’s the smaller bottle on the right from photo above 😀
