NEW! Antipodes Scientific Natural Makeup™ Collection That Uses Ecocert Certified Natural Bismuth Oxychloride To Ensure Smoother Application

Antipodes® has always known to be a scientific organic skin care brand and that is also how I remember Antipodes to be. That was all changed two weeks ago when TNS Skin Lab, a leading specialist retailer of premium natural and organic beauty & personal care products who is also the exclusive retailer for Antipodes here in Malaysia launched the all-natural mineral makeup collection.

Antipodes Natural Mineral Makeup Range 1
Since I’m new to Antipodes, allow me to do a short brand introduction on the brand 🙂

Do you know that Antipodes is a global scientific organic beauty brand that aspires to Estee Lauder’s family business values and it is owned by Wellingtonian, Elizabeth Barbalich? Now you know :D. I was always curious on the word “scientific” that is attached to the brand name. I found out that each formula is scientifically validated which explains the scientific part. All of the premium ingredients are sourced from none other than New Zealand’s nature. Each and every product has it’s own exotic scent. It’s quite interesting I would say as the brand invest in expertise of “The French Nose” on earlier days to determine the fragrance across each range.

Antipodes has been around since 2006. That was 7 years ago and now the brand has developed a total of 26 skin care products, five natural mineral foundations and six lipsticks. Besides it’s native New Zealand, Antipodes has also bloomed and expanded to countries like Malaysia, Australia, France, Slovenia, Canada, Italy, UK, Taiwan and South Korea. It’s range of product is also available at international independent retailers such as Whole Foods Market, Selfridges Department Store UK, Sephora, Planet Organic, David Jones, MYER, Fenwick and ASOS (Saviour Skin Balm only).

[ADV] Top 5 Fashionistas Must-Have Credit Card for 2013 By iMoney.my

A lot of people ask me why I choose to blog about beauty and not fashion. I’ve always been into beauty more than anything else. I may not be your neighborhood fashionista but I am a self-proclaimed beauty addict :D. One distinctive similarity between a fashionista and beauty addict is of course none other than shopping!

Last year especially I am aware that I spend more and more on beauty products. I realized that I can get rebates and certain privilege benefits from credit card so I did a short check-up online on which is the best cash back credit card to sign on. Bag of Love Beauty Box Review

Bag Of Love “Say Boo!” October 2013 Edition Review

Ahhh Bag Of Love. It is one of the most talked about beauty box bag subscription service locally here in Malaysia. It is also one of the subscription service that has been keeping up month by month since the beauty bag started it’s operation back in March 2013.

If you are a Bag Of Love regular subscriber or follower, you are well aware that their unique selling point is that they don’t use boxes to send out their beauty samples. Instead they came out with different type and design of pouch every month, thus creating some sort of cult follower. While I may not be a person that like to collect pouches however I am amazed with Bag of Love’s pouch design every single month. Since October bag coincide with Halloween Day, Bag Of Love took this opportunity to came out with a Halloween theme beauty bag.

Bag Of Love Say Boo 1
There are 3-full size product included in Bag Of Love “Say Boo!” October 2013 Edition. The full size product that got everyone screaming their lungs out at is the Full Size Nanowhite Infinity Color Correction Cream SPF50 PA+++ 30ml worth RM49.90. Not me :). I admit that I do have a soft spot for CC Cream but this will be the second reason on why I subscribed for this bag. BB Cream and I don’t get along very well but not CC Cream. It fares well on my oily skin so I would light up whenever I see CC Cream. The shade that I was given is Natural Beige. Judging from the shade’s name I suppose it will match to my skin but I would prefer Light Beige as I like my base makeup to be a shade or two lighter. The oil secretion by mid day will definitely oxidize the shade to darker shade. Will see how this is for me 😉

What's In My Bag

What’s In My Bag? (Version #1)

Most people would be on leave today as it’s another public holiday tomorrow for us here in Malaysia. So I thought why not blog about something light. I think most of you are not in the mood to read long product review :D. Hope there’s no Monday blue for those that are working today.

I’ve been wanting to do a “What’s In My Bag” for so long now but didn’t get a chance to because (1) my bag is small, old and dirty, (2) there’s a lot of junk in my small bag and (3) there’s nothing interesting in the bag but junk. LOL! Ever since I got myself a proper bag as a birthday gift to well…myself, I have then rearranged the content of my bag. Now is the right time to show you my not-so-interesting edition of What’s In My Bag ;). I refer this post as Version 1 because who knows maybe I’ll do another one and another one in the future? 😀

What Is In My Bag 1
My current bag is Michael Kors Jet Set Travel Multi-Function Tote in Medium size which I bought just early October 2013. The reason why I choose this bag is because of the quality and spaciousness in the tote as I need a bigger bag to bring to work. I am dealing with digital sales so most of the time I’m out and about with a MacBook Air, iPad and of course my planner which I can’t live without. I don’t plan to put weight in the bag with the MacBook Air (wouldn’t want to break my new bag lol) but I think I can live with iPad in it.

Charity Clarins Event Sulwhasoo

Beauty For A Good Cause: Sulwhasoo “Hundred Charity Quilt Kit” and Clarins FEED 10 Purse

Yesterday morning I took the day off from the laptop and drove to Pavilion to meet up with Kamsiah for some beauty shopping trip. The main agenda is of course the Clarins Facebook Gathering. I’ve been to the very first Clarins gathering 2 years ago at The Gardens Mall and it was loads of fun as it’s my first and Clarins’ first time having such gathering too :D. Subsequently Clarins did held a few Facebook Fans Gathering but I didn’t go. I wasn’t even aware there’s a gathering this time round so I got to thank Kamsiah for letting me know :D. I missed quite a lot of things in Facebook lately as I was too busy to stalk beauty brands 🙁

So. I had the itch to shop but wouldn’t want to add stress to my already large beauty stash so I only have a mission – to only buy charity kits. Here’s what I came home with.
