There’s a new CC Cream in town :D. That’s right. World renowned celebrity dermatologist brand, Dr. Brandt recently held a press launch for their version of CC Cream – CC Mat With Signature Shinerase™ just end of July 2013.
Instead of naming the product CC Cream, this one is slightly different. Dr. Brandt CC Mat is an all-in-one oil-free colour control cream that provides instant mattifying coverage and oil-control while giving the skin an instant makeover, just like a flawless work of art :D. It provides a matte finishing but yet natural looking to even out skin tone and the SPF 30 PA+++ in it is to protect the skin using 100% mineral filters. CC Mat is more suitable and ideally to be used for oily/combination, blemish-prone and sensitive skin types. I have oily skin. To be able to know that there is a product just for oily skin people, hey…I’m sold already!
Many months ago I was gifted with this beautiful creamy pink nail polish from China Glaze. It has been sitting in my drawer until recently I changed the shape of my nails and immediately took this out to use. I’ve been saving it for the nails as I knew it will be beautiful, and I was right 😀
Hopeful is the shade that I received. It is a part of a 12 polishes in the United For A Purpose Collection which is also a China Glaze’s 2012 Breast Cancer Awareness release. These 12 polishes namely Faith, Angels Breath, Hopeful, Pearls of Wisdom, Dare to be Bare, Heart of the Matter, Hello Gorgeous, United, Beauty Within, Live Love Laugh, Exquisite and Always a Lady. Most of them are pale shades of pink but there is also a few glittery ones and bold fuchsia.

Although the sneak peek doesn’t reveal much but based on the theme “Flower Power” and the product in general that will be included, I already knew that I will like it. I tried asking for first hand news from the girls, and boy they sure can keep a secret. Mission failed :(. I got to hang on for a few more days for the box to arrive.
As expected, MIVVA never fail me. So far they are the most creative beauty box of all. I said so many times before that I like to see brand or product diversity in a beauty box and only MIVVA has done it. Some people tell me the brands they get is weird. Heck, that’s not weird. That is DIVERSITY. Who doesn’t like to receive “weird” stuff? I do. At least it’s something that is different from retail store don’t you think so?
