I was just happy with getting my second iHerb parcel that I have no intention to blog about it at all because the purchase is mostly done for a friend, until I realised I do have a fair share of haul 😀 . This time round I experienced a totally different shipping experience so I thought of sharing with you what happened.
First thing first, here’s the mini haul 😉
I bet by now you had already figure that I am kinda obsessed with iHerb based on my Facebook updates. Thanks to all your recommendation and push to order from the addictive site, I can’t stop browsing now. Just in case you are not aware, Real Techniques was on 20% discount for the whole of last week. A good friend of mine had just started getting her feet wet with skin cares and makeup, which was groomed by me *ehem* so one day she ask me to help her to order some Real Technique brushes. She gave me a long list of brushes she want but I sort of trim everything down to just two items because as a beginner, she doesn’t need all brushes at once.
I didn’t plan to blog about this as this is something that you can’t get in Malaysia and I assume it’s already sold out by now in Singapore as well. I’ve decided to do a quick shoutout because I want to thank my wonderful friend, Jenny for bringing two extremely heavy Female Singapore April 2014 Issue X NARS The Collector’s Edition back to Malaysia for me. Just in case you’re wondering. Jenny is the same Jenny from eBay Malaysia whom I used to shop from online once in a while. Although she no longer sell in eBay Malaysia, I still keep her eBay store bookmark in my phone 😉
Since Jenny is now residing out of Malaysia, I only managed to meet her last Saturday at Estee Lauder Malaysia Staff Sale queue line. She handed me the box set, I sat in the queue line for a while and then bring it back to my car. Magazine coming out with limited edition anniversary box set is not something new. In Malaysia we had before CLEO Collector’s Edition January 2014, Cleo May 2013 X Lanvin ME Limited Edition Box and many more. You can say it’s rare back then but quite common these days.
Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Series: How I combat acne attack using less than five products
People say as you get older your skin gets drier. I am the other way round. Oily skin can get a little bit annoying at times but nonetheless I felt blessed because I don’t have fine lines or wrinkles on my face. It’s either that or this, right?
At my age now I shouldn’t still have oily skin or a skin that is prone to breakout. If you remember not long ago I have shared with you my current skincare routine using a full anti-aging skin care range that I find might be too rich for my oily super oily skin that it gave me a few new pimples every day? I was in luck because not long after my review was posted up, my long expected Thursday Plantation Tea Tree skin care series parcel arrived my doorstep. I badly needed these products to turn my skin around.
Nope, you did not read the title wrongly. I did received five Thursday Plantation Tea Tree skin care products, which I find by just using three products from the brand helped to solve my acne problem. I’m not going to review all five products by sequence, i.e cleanser > toner > gel but instead I’m going to tell you my favourite product from Tea Tree series down to my least favourite. Since there’s going to be five products and you can already foresee how long this review is going to, I don’t think I’ll go too technical like the usual review. Just straight to the point like and dislike 🙂 . Ready? Let’s start.
You know how most girls (and guys) are into editing their photos with all the beautifying effects using photo editing software or apps? Have you ever notice why your friends photo are blurry with soft focus-like effect? The secret is adding soft focus effect by blurring skin imperfection.
Kiehl’s recently came out with a brand new product – Micro-Blur Skin Imperfector and boy I was over the moon with this one. I don’t normally use a new product on my face without doing some research prior. However the product name itself hit me on the right spot and I find myself using the product within the next five minutes of receiving the parcel 🙂
I notice that pores is number 1 first world issue for most women, regardless if they have smooth skin or they have orange-like skin. Women just like to complain about their “large” pores. I have annoying friends with porcelain smooth flawless skin who is forever looking for a product to shrink their pores. Read between the line – porcelain smooth flawless skin. Whenever these girls start to complain about their pores (which doesn’t even exist on them), my inner self starts to shrink and I always see myself shrinking to a mouse size, you know…just like the movie Alice In Wonderland? I felt exactly like that. My statement is supported by research done by Kiehl’s whereas the finding proves that pores are a key skin issue for women regardless of age GLOBALLY.
Last Saturday was the Suria Meriang Staff Sales (now known as Estee Lauder Malaysia Sdn Bhd Staff Sale), also nicknamed by me as the mother of all warehouse sales was held at Berjaya Times Square Hotel. Did I or did I not went for this yearly affair? Urrrmmm well, I did but I wasn’t allowed to publicise it so I won’t be telling you how it went this year. Oh bummer 🙁 . So instead I thought of sharing with you several smart shopping tips that I practised personally in order to constrain myself from overhaul or impulsive purchase. Warehouse sales newbies, you got to read this 😉
