26th July 2016 was the best day of my 2016 and I shared it with Laneige Malaysia for their annual Waterful Sharing Campaign. Usually media shy away when it comes to charity but I am usually the first one in line when it comes to charity.
Laneige Waterful Sharing Campaign returned for the fourth installation this year 2017 and continued its collaboration with Global Peace Foundation (GPF) in providing clean water access to rural community. This comeback is to also resume 2016’s effort whereas the two Kampung – Kampung Binjai Pahang and Kampung Ulu Geruntum Perak will receive an additional four water filtration systems each. This additional is to aid the increasing villagers demand for clean water. But this year, two more new Kampung will receive this year’s chapter of initiative. The newly identified Kampung are Kampung Padang Pahang and Kampung Poh Perak. Both Kampung is about 10 to 20 minutes drive from last year’s Kampung and they are recommended by the Tok Penghulu. Therefore, a total of 880 residents across four Kampung will be benefited from this year’s campaign.
I loveeee iHerb. I like that I am able to purchase brand and products that are not available in Malaysia. I like that sometimes some of the product goes on sale. I like that they ship to Malaysia, and I like that they now have Shipping Saver that save me some money on shipping. I like a lot of things when it comes to iHerb 😀 . My routine every morning while holding a hot cup of coffee is to browse through iHerb for their weekly special. Unfortunately not all are on 20% discount now, it is “up to 20% discount” only. But I still find some really good deals and gems. Last week’s discovery which shook me is that iHerb now carries a small collection of Pixi Beauty! And it is much more cheaper than Sephora.my.
Yesterday was the celebration of Earth Day 2017 and just as the past 2 years, The Body Shop Malaysia in collaboration with Free Tree Society once again gave out 2,000 saplings of 25 different species this year at two different location; eCurve Petaling Jaya and Setia City Mall.
Last year I was invited over to join their celebration but I had another responsibility to take care of so I was absent. This year I am so happy that The Body Shop invited me over again for their third year in giving away free trees. Initially I thought I was going over to help them to plant some trees or at least to depot some plants for the visitors. I was so ready to get my hands dirty and I was even geared up in my sports attire for that 😀 . It turns out I do not need to do all that.
I am going to start a fashion series here in Street Love. I don’t think I will be doing lookbook at the moment as that take a lot of time. Let’s start small. Let’s start with just one. I am going to pick one of my favourite look and name it as Favourite Look of the Week. So you will get to see what dress, shoe, sunglasses, hair style etc that I have created and like the most 😀
I bought a few new dresses for a few coming events two weeks ago. Currently I am very much into the brand Missguided. I describe Missguided style as simple with unique sexy style. This dress Silky Strappy Wrap Over Midi Dress is one size larger than my current dress size but it fits on nicely. However it is a silk dress afterall so it tend to get tight when I sweat. I was contemplating if I should return it. In the end I decided to keep it. No regret at all! The dress have a deep V-neck but not revealing, depending on the adjustment of the dress strap. The front of the dress has a split with the fabric end overlapping each other. I am a fast walker with huge foot step. With this dress I have to somewhat walk slower with smaller foot step. It’s a silk dress so it flows beautifully as I walk 😉
When it comes to cushion foundation, I only have one top favourite. It puzzled me how cushion foundation dries up so fast. As if it we were in a warp speed or something. The April Skin cushion that I have been saving for special event use only is barely useable now and I have only used it not more than 5 times! Sulwhasoo or even Innisfree lasts longer than that. Then, came along this new Mamonde High Cover Liquid Cushion.
I am not into BB Cream in general regardless whatever form it comes in, especially if it comes in a cushion. However that is a different story when it comes to liquid cushion. I can jump straight to the end of my review now telling you that this Mamonde High Cover Liquid Cushion hits all the check list I have for cushion product. This, I like!
