DH Artful Décor x KENS Apothecary Collaboration in Conjunction with The Gardens Mall Boutique Launch
Last Thursday was KENS Apothecary The Gardens Mall boutique launch and also the unveiling of DH X KENS Collaboration. It was their fifth store to date but you must be wondering, what is DH X KENS?
DH stands for DH Artful Décor, a local paper flower artisan. This collaboration is all about providing a modern twist into the traditional Malay hantaran presentation. Together, KENS and DH makes a good match hand-in-hand offers for customers who are preparing for their wedding.
When it comes to lipstick, hands down matte lipstick wins. There has been a love and hate with matte lipstick but I just love them. Not for its long lasting but for the comfort. I love how matte lipstick feels like nothing on the lips. Matte lipstick comes in many form – liquid lipstick, which is in trend at the moment, powder lipstick, which many find odd but I love it, and comfortable matte lipstick that will suit even those who are not into matte lipstick. Many of you know that I run but I think not many of you know that I am also into bodyweight HIIT training as well. In fact, I sort of slowed down my running for HIIT training. And the kind of bodyweight training I am into is not the normal version but rather a more intense workout named Metafit. I spoke about having regular Metafit session for my #IWillBeOkay ‘Fight Against Depression’ Awareness Campaign for so long. Even way before I started planning for #IWillBeOkay Trail Hike event. Because the trail event needed a lot of planning so that took off first.
Initially I am skipping the coming quarter (June) campaign as I am drained out from the last event. However when Clinelle asked to collaborate for an event for their Hot Body Shaper Cream, I jumped onto the opportunity. Hence this #IWillBeOkay Shape Up Metafit Training. I don’t normally go MLM product launch but this Nu Skin ageLOC Me got my beauty radar beeping like crazy. I went, hoping they would give me one but nah, no luck this time LOL 😛 . This is the one launch that does not give what they launched. Then I found out why. *psstt* It’s too expensive to give (said in sexy whisper voice).
Okay so why am I sooooooo intrigued with this Nu Skin ageLOC Me? At one glance, this is a machine that automatically dispenses your skincare! Not just that. It does a whole lot more. Interestingly, I learnt at the event that the ageLOC Me was launched a few years ago and until today, no one I repeat NO ONE copied and launch it. What happen to China?? It is either the machine is too hard to be copied or it is just too costly for the mortal market. I mean, a few thousands for a machine that customize and dispenses your skincare? Would you buy?
I love cream masks. More than sheet mask, yes. If I can put on a mask for the day, I would go for cream mask anytime. Some think cream mask is troublesome and sloppy but I think the otherwise. I think sheet mask is sloppy lol. You get both your hands wet and sticky pulling the sheet mask out of the packaging, you get sticky essence dripping down your arm and neck *eeewww*. It is just too much. I think the reason why many people turned to sheet mask rather than cream mask is because they can just peel the sheet mask off and leave the remaining essence on, while for cream mask you need to wash them off. It does not make any difference to me as I would still wash my face regardless which type of mask I use. I just don’t like sticky face. Personal preference 😉
