Been dreaming to go to a fashion show but it seems like a far-fetched dream? Just visit this Dior Backstage Studio! The first, one and only recreation of the electric backstage atmosphere at a Dior Runway Show is now opened at Suria KLCC since early August 2015. What’s unique about this new space is that you will enter to a store that gives you an illusion as if you are standing at the backstage of a Dior fashion show.
Even from the store entrance, you will find yourself about to enter into a brand new makeup universe, or rather in the middle of a Dior Runway galaxy (thanks to the huge screen video walls facing the entrance) and have all your beauty needs answered. There are a playlist of background music from Dior runway shows playing on the background to set the mood and tone for you.
After GLAMGLOW released four Mud-to-Foam Cleansers back in April, I have been thinking to myself what’s next for GLAMGLOW. What else could the Hollywood’s backstage secret brand come out with? It did not occur to me that what’s missing within its range is a brightening treatment product. And that is exactly what GLAMGLOW launched earlier this month. GLAMGLOW FLASHMUD™ would be a joy to those who like brightening product, like me 🙂
I am a sucker for packaging. Usually it’s pretty cute packaging that always suck me into buying but in GLAMGLOW’s case, if I were to spend RM255 on ONE product, I would expect a darn good packaging. Some said the box is unnecessary. I guess it depends on each individual. I am not a bit bothered by the outer box. I only wish the box is metal or something so I can reuse for beauty storage. Oh and all GLAMGLOW products packaging are designed personally by it’s co-founder Glenn Dellimore 🙂
You are reading this 6 Must-Watch YouTube Beauty Channels – Part 3 because yes, I am still very much into watching YouTube and discovering interesting YouTubers to follow. My routine every morning with a cup of coffee is to click on each and every channel listed in my 20 Must-Watch YouTube Beauty Channels and 10 Must-Watch YouTube Beauty Channels – Part 2. Why only six YouTube channels this time? I didn’t want the title to be a repentance i.e. 10 or 20 so I decided to talk about six YouTubers instead 🙂 . And, these six YouTubers happened to be my current favourite channel to stalk 😀

Jaclyn Hill is HUGE in YouTube. I have no idea why I did not know about this last time but it’s not too late. Jaclyn Hill recently collaborated with Becca Cosmetics for her own highlighter named Champaign Pop. It is the best-seller highlighter so far and constantly sold out. She is affiliated with Morphe for Jaclyn Hill Favorites Palette (which is currently out of stock as well), Gerard Cosmetics for two lipsticks (Buttercup and 1995) and two lip glosses (Rose Hill and Buttercream), which she no longer want to be associated anymore, an up-coming eyeshadow palette with Makeup Geek, and her own makeup line, which will be named as Jaclyn Hill Collection.
Clarins Extra-Firming Neck Anti-Wrinkle Rejuvenating Cream: Tone and smoothes the neck area, but does not remove existing nasty deep lines
Just when I scrapped out the last bit of my old Clarins Advanced Extra-Firming Neck Cream, tossed the empty tub to the dustbin, the NEW Clarins Extra-Firming Neck Anti-Wrinkle Rejuvenating Cream arrived my doorstep two months ago.
I wished I was told about the importance of taking care of the neck, just as the face. I came from a family where no one uses any skincare. I learnt about taking care of my face only after I started working. However at that time neck care is basically non-existance. Just like face care, I learnt it the hard way. It was a 9-5 desk job with monitor placement underneath the table (you know, the kind of table that the banks are into a few years ago?) that gave me two harsh lines on the neck that got me thinking about neck care.
If you search hard enough, you will know that there aren’t many neck cream available. There are a few from higher end brand and they are usually on the higher price side. Yes you can drag your usual skincare down to the neck, but for someone who has two distinctive deep lines, it is not enough nor does it do anything.
Search programs are well-known in the USA and trends are slowly moving into Malaysia. When it comes to a beauty related search program, Beauty Bound Asia would be the first. It reminds me of Masterchef, but on a digital platform.
Beauty Bound Asia, presented by SK-II on YouTube is the region’s premier digital search and creator cultivation program for emerging online beauty talent. Like I said, this would be the first beauty related search program therefore it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to interact and learn from the world’s best beauty creators, beauty brands, and digital experts.
