iHerb JASON Make Up - Remover Review: Make Up

JASON Quick Clean™ Pure Natural Makeup Remover: A quick, easy and convenient way in removing eye makeup

In my quest of searching for the best, fastest and most convenient eye makeup remover, I often stumble upon YouTubers talking about eye makeup remover pads and how it worked so well on them. One particular brand that was highly talk about is Almay, which unfortunately none of the online store ship to Malaysia except for MySale.my. I don’t think I have the will in me to wait for one and a half month though.

iHerb is a place that I often turned to for my “international brand” fix. Although iHerb does not carry Almay products but I managed to find something equally good, if not better. There are two brands available in iHerb carrying eye makeup remover pads. I chose JASON Quick Clean™ Pure Natural Makeup Remover because the other brand kept receiving comments about the pads being a bit dry.

I received JASON Quick Clean™ Pure Natural Makeup Remover not too long ago. It came without any box and worse, without any proper wrapping around it. I also couldn’t find any manufacturing date or expiry date printed on the jar. I must say, it is worrying to me not being able to tell if someone had open the jar before and if the product is still good to use. I believe they are but there wasn’t any hard evidence to back it up.

iHerb Make Up - Face Physicians Formula Review: Make Up

Physicians Formula Youthful Wear Spotless Foundation & Brush SPF 15 in Light: One of the kind Cosmeceutical Youth-Boosting Foundation. Love the flawless finishing and oil control, hate the awful scent

Physicians Formula has always been a brand that I’ve wanted to try ever since I started watching YouTube a few months ago but because it is not available locally here in Malaysia, I never get the chance to. What’s in my wishlist? Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush and Bronze Booster of course! 🙂

When I think of it, it’s odd that I never wanted to watch YouTube at all previously. I don’t get how my ex-employer could spend half a day watching YouTube, researching for editorial materials. Now that I’m hooked to YouTube, my wishlist for international brand is getting larger and larger. Thanks to iHerb.com, I can finally get my paws on a bottle of Physicians Formula Youthful Wear Spotless Foundation & Brush SPF 15 that was first introduced by Judy on It’sJudysTime YouTube channel back in January 2014.

Physicians Formula Youthful Wear Spotless Foundation & Brush
To add more excitement to how well-received this foundation serum is, whaddaya know…the foundation comes with a small slanted flat top Pro Blending Brush. The below photo is how Physicians Formula Youthful Wear Spotless Foundation & Brush came through the mail. The foundation glass bottle and brush was securely cushioned and densely packed into a clear base in the box. iHerb.com did not bubble wrap it. I’m glad nothing broke and nothing was leaking. I trust iHerb but I don’t trust the postman 😛

Second iHerb Haul: A different shipping experience and how I expedite the parcel delivery

I was just happy with getting my second iHerb parcel that I have no intention to blog about it at all because the purchase is mostly done for a friend, until I realised I do have a fair share of haul 😀 . This time round I experienced a totally different shipping experience so I thought of sharing with you what happened.

First thing first, here’s the mini haul 😉

iHerb Second Haul
I bet by now you had already figure that I am kinda obsessed with iHerb based on my Facebook updates. Thanks to all your recommendation and push to order from the addictive site, I can’t stop browsing now. Just in case you are not aware, Real Techniques was on 20% discount for the whole of last week. A good friend of mine had just started getting her feet wet with skin cares and makeup, which was groomed by me *ehem* so one day she ask me to help her to order some Real Technique brushes. She gave me a long list of brushes she want but I sort of trim everything down to just two items because as a beginner, she doesn’t need all brushes at once.

ELF Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15: Something not meant for oily skin

Many many years ago I started off my journey into makeup by getting Korean and American brands by joining online sprees. My repeat order has always been Missha and ELF. ELF was my favourite because of the price. It is US$1 per item for the basic line, which is known as Essential line now. Most spree cost about RM6 per item, a bit high after conversation but hey, the seller got to earn a bit too for organizing the spree right? 🙂 . So I was more than happy to pay RM6 per ELF item.

One particular item that I ordered the most is ELF Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15. I have no idea what Tinted Moisturizer is at that time. It looks like a foundation but I remember hating it very much because the coverage was so sheer that none of my acne marks were covered. Not even a tiny bit. I ended up giving away most of it to my friends, who I’m sure doesn’t know a clue what to do with it too lol.

While I was browsing for stuffs to order on iHerb, I stumbled upon this ELF Tinted Moisturizer again. So I started googling and I found out that this best-seller product is actually discontinued and was replaced with ELF Studio Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20. So I order one ELF Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 #Apricot Beige from iHerb for USD$1.99. Initially I wanted to order three but since I can’t remember much about it, I only order one. Plus iHerb only have one shade. I suppose this is the leftover stock after the product was discontinued.

First iHerb Shopping Experience: The process, the shipping and the purchase

Last month I shared with you My Favourite Top 3 Online Beauty Stores and I did mentioned that iHerb is a favourite online site for most people I know due to it’s low international shipping rate. I also mentioned that I probably don’t have the patience to wait for the shipment to arrive, which I don’t and still don’t 😀

The story on how I made my first iHerb purchase came about when I wanted to pick up Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman Sam’s Picks Exclusive Brush Set. Unfortunately for me the brush set is out of stock and it will only be available in April. April came along and the brush set is still yet available so I waited for another few more weeks but to no avail. Finally I decided to forgo the brush set and get individual brush that I need instead. There’s so many things I wanted to pick up right away however I took a good few days to rethink if I should as the mother of all warehouse sales is happening in three weeks time.

This is a small haul which I shared with my friend Cynthia.

iHerb Haul 1
My iHerb transaction was surprisingly smooth. I would expect lots of drama but there was no nonsense. Not that I wanted chaos or whatsoever but I seems to be quite unlucky sometimes when it comes to online shopping. Furthermore iHerb is not local so can’t blame me for over thinking 😀
