When Bath & Body Works FINALLY arrived Malaysia back in December 2014, I made my way to Nu Sentral after dinner allll the way from where I live, dragging along the whole family with me. The store in Nu Sentral looks huge as I was walking towards it and it was stuff with customers from the entrance all the way to the back, where the candles/other entrance is. Let’s not even talk about the checkout line shall we. The queue stretched all the way back too.
Good news for those who are like me, not fancy of driving into KL. Bath & Body Works opened their second store in Klang Valley earlier this week. The store is located at The Curve, Lot G117 & G117A, Centre Court, Ground Floor. Just look for MANGO or Starbucks and you will find Bath & Body Works 😀 . I actually found the store from the signage reflection on the escalator side lol 😀
If Nu Sentral store is long and narrow, you will find The Curve store to be at a totally different layout. The store itself is more wider and shorter. I like The Curve store more comparing to Nu Sentral as I can get quite agitated being in a tight space. This new store definitely have more walking space to occupy all the excited Bath & Body Works fans especially during the busy weekend.
The dangerous couple is back. Gucci Guilty’s lovers and the spark between them inspire Gucci’s new limited edition fragrances. Gucci Guilty Diamond casts a provocative new light. Captured within these new limited edition, is the electric chemistry between the stars of Gucci Guilty’s campaigns: actors Evan Rachel Wood and Chris Evans. Magnetically drawn to one another; exuding desire when they are together, Gucci Guilty Diamond symbolizes their intense passion.
The sensual tension between Gucci Guilty’s rebel love duo is recalled in the hypnotic glint of a diamond. A covetable jewel that exudes power and beauty. Infinite points of light emanate from its facets, scintillating with promise. Its brilliance is a provocative invitation the Gucci Guilty lovers submit to temptation.
I love the holiday collection at Sephora. This year I went all out. You know, to make up for last year? 😀 This is also the year where most people throw me the same question – “Sephora again?”. Yes I did Sephora again.
Among all the limited and exclusive holiday collection, Peter Thomas Roth Skinstant Mask Magic Sephora Exclusive is the one and only skin care set that I really wanted to bag home. I didn’t because it was retailing at RM208. The thought of buying three little 50ml pot of gel mask at 200 bucks is not justifiable for me. I always take a peek at the price during Sephora holiday collection markdown everytime I’m at Sephora but the price remains at RM208. That was until a month later where I casually stroll pass this set, reverse and took a double glance at the price because it was reduced to RM145! Initially I wanted to get Marc Jacobs eyeshadow palette and I couldn’t decided which to buy so I went home with Peter Thomas Roth Skinstant Mask Magic Sephora Exclusive instead 🙂
Peter Thomas Roth gel masks has been in my wishlist ever since I read about them from Paris B. Everytime I read about a product review from Paris B, she makes me wanting to sneak out from work to buy it. All.the.time. Without fail lol.
I was suppose to post up a review on Peter Thomas Roth Skinstant Mask Magic today but I wasn’t satisfied with the batch of photos taken two weeks ago so I have to push Sunday post to today instead. Oh dang. This is just one of those days 😀
Anyway, I finally clean off the candle wax from my Ikea candle jar, which I’ve been wanting to do for months. Thank goodness my Copenhagen candle hit the bottom on the same night so I can tell you how I remove the remaining candle wax. There are a few methods found online but I settle with this particular method and it works like a charm for me. This is How to Clean Candle Wax From Glass, tested and proven by yours truly 🙂
The method that I’ve tried and works well for me is the boiling water method. If you don’t read the instruction properly before doing it, you will end up with oily, waxy mess like I did before this. It’s really simple. What I like to do prior is to place a plate underneath the glass jar so that I can easily carry the jar around. Then pour in hot water, fill up to the top brim. This time I left a gap on top because I did this demo in my room and I have to walk a bit to the kitchen.
I totally missed out the part where this Little Black Primer™ will only be launch in February 2015 that I nearly scheduled it up for December 2014. Thank goodness I was referring to the press release while composing. That explains why I have to push this review to February. So sad that I’ve come to the last instalment of Estée Lauder week product review 🙁 . If you’ve missed the first two reviews, click here for the first review and click here for the second review 😀
Among the three Estée Lauder product I received over a month ago, the first one I started using the next morning is the Estée Lauder Little Black Primer. I was actually most excited with this one here because I don’t need to photograph it before using AND I have sad, droopy lashes.
Now, the Estée Lauder Little Black Primer™ is a 3-1-1 lash primer. No it does not contribute growth to the lashes as this is a makeup product BUT that doesn’t make it any less interesting. What this product really is that it is (1) a lash tint for ‘barely visible’ lashes, (2) a pre-mascara primer that hold curl, gives volume and length and (3) a post-mascara primer that sealed the mascara and gives it a waterproof coating. Tell me that is not intriguing. I’ve never heard, seen or used anything like this before.
